I hope everything is copacetic.
So let’s get right to it. Your boy Paul Makonda aka David Bashite or whatever the hell his name is, is at it again.
Firing blanks all over the place with his new harum-scarum project.
A project foolishly conceived and stupidly executed: going after deadbeat dads by inviting all the women of Dar-Es-Salaam to show up at his office and report their baby daddies who shirk on their parental duties.
This guy has got to be the most inept member of this Magufuli regime. No two ways about it!
What has this guy succeeded in since he became the RC for Dar?
He went after prostitutes [ and their Johns, I think], it never worked.
He went after suspected drug dealers and users in a much publicized stunt and nothing meaningful came out of it.
He embarrassed a former city director in front everybody by basically denying him his due process and said he was a crook.
Several weeks later the guy died and he attended his obsequies, perhaps without the slightest compunctions of conscience.
He couldn’t give straight answers to the questions about his true identity. Every time he got asked about it he floundered left, right, and center.
He got caught on camera, entourage in tow, with some holding weapons, entering the offices of a media entity allegedly to coerce them to air something he wanted. I doubt if he was even admonished for it.
It’s utterly bewildering how this guy can still be in his post after so many screw ups like that.
The guy shoots blanks, figuratively speaking. But some say he also does, literally. If you get my drift.
