Arsenal are set to hijack West Ham United’s £26m deal for striker Carlos Bacca from Italian club AC Milan as The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger desperately want to sign a striker this summer, according to the reports form talksport .

The French manager has already completed the signing of Swiss international midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach and as also completed the signing of J-league youngster Takuma Asano but the north London outfit are still in search of a striker after missing out on Leicester City’s star striker Jamie Vardy just a month ago.

The agent of out of favour AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez has admitted that Chelsea are serious about signing the Spaniard this summer.
A combination of injury and poor form at the start of last season saw the Spaniard lose his place in the side to youngster Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has held on to the gloves since.

After reports that a return to Italy was close, AC Milan now face foreign competition for the signature of Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

New AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella is determined to start from the bottom and work his way up so his new squad finds success.

Despite previous money problems, AC Milan could soon capture Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio as the Spanish side look for a replacement.

Despite his desire to fight for a first team place, AC Milan could sell midfielder Suso this summer with several clubs interested.

AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca is dreaming of playing in the Champions League, saying that he is considering his future to make it a reality.

AC Milan director Umberto Gandini recently shared his thoughts on how Milan can regain their famous power and consistency, as well as the selling of the club in an interview with Stanley Kay of Sports Illustrated.

Gandini confirmed one of the biggest stories revolving around Milan this offseason: the club is being sold by Silvio Berlusconi to a Chinese fund. This comes after a seventh place finish in the Serie A last year, which is another year without Champions League football.

The Rossoneri GM was asked about his expectations since the club being sold to Chinese investors and he said:

“Now we have to face new shareholders, new owners, hopefully new capital investments and new ideas.”

Although it will be a cultural shock, Gandini is right. A.C. Milan don’t have much of a choice since the economy is bad in Europe and the prices in the transfer market even for average players have skyrocketed over the years. It’s taken 30 years for Berlusconi to sell the club because it has been a traditional, family team, but things have changed over the last few years.

Gandini stated that the television deal the Premier League has with NBC is a disadvantage to the Italian clubs. He says that there will always be the giant clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, but the TV deal in the Premier League is a contributing factor to more competition. This is because the average teams also have a lot more money to invest in players.

Gandini also pointed out that he thinks the language barrier makes it hard to compete against English clubs and their popularity in other countries like the United States.

“But in order to compete within this European scenario,” Gandini said, “you need to have big pockets.”

The sale to Chinese investors will help the club have these “big pockets.” The money that will come flushing through will help the commercial aspect of the team and Gandini believes it will help Milan re-establish themselves in the Serie A.

However, the executive director made another point to tell Kay that the club sale is just in the process and thus makes it tough to give detail on what exactly is going to happen.

AC Milan has been a part of the European football picture for a long time, and they want to make a return to success. Gandini believes that the team can return to qualifying for the Champions League on a regular basis if great investments are made.

Villarreal ace willing to wait for AC Milan.........

AC Milan and Inter are currently the favourites to sign Martin Caceres, who is currently a free-agent after he parted ways with Juventus at the end of last season. Caceres, who is also receiving interest from Napoli and Fiorentina, has already excluded Roma as a potential destination as he currently recovers from injury in Como.

Napoli have had another bid rejected in their attempts to sign AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, as they look for Gonzalo Higuain replacements.

AC Milan have been stopped in their tracks to sign Mateo Musacchio, as it transpires they do not have sufficient funds at the moment.

Despite links with German club Wolfsburg, Juventus forward Simone Zaza would prefer to stay in Italy, with AC Milan a possible destination.

July 30th 2016, a day of celebration for our colors. Today is the birthday of Barbara Berlusconi, born on July 30th 1984, and the one of Adriano Galliani, born on July 30th 1944. A special day for them and for all the red and black supporters in the world.

Gang Chomba

Juan Cuadrado

The most likely of the five, with a deal looking imminent.
A reunion with Vincenzo Montella looks to be the key here as he was a major factor in making the Columbian the player he is now. After a poor stint at Chelsea and a solid loan deal at Juventus, his future is clouded at the Stamford Bridge. With Antonio Conte signalling that he is not part of his plans for the near or long-term future. A price tag of 30 million Euros has been slapped on the head of the pacey winger.
A move to Milan could be key for his career and would be a major upgrade from Suso or Keisuke Honda. If the deal does not go through by the end of August, a January move would not be off the cards.

Martin Caceres

An experienced prospect for a side struggling with defensive reinforcements.
After his release by Juventus at the conclusion of last season. The question remains as to where the Uruguayan will play next season. He has been behind the likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli and Daniele Rugani in the pecking order at the Bianconeri
but does not lack quality. Caceres is mobile, strong in the tackle and the experienced head the Rossoneri have been craving. At the age of 29, he still has some solid years ahead and would be a major upgrade from Gabriel Paletta or Gustavo Gomez.
Due to his price tag being little to nothing, a move could well be a possibility. He should be chased heavily and is not out of Milan’s reach. Is exactly what Milan needs as a short-term fix.

Milan Badelj

Another looking for a reunion with Vincenzo Montella.
Signed by the Italian at the commencement of the 2014/15 season, his former association with Montella could be the telling factor. Fiorentina are reluctant to sell him but is trying to push through the move before the end of August. A tough nosed defensive midfielder who the Rossoneri have been looking for since the departure of Nigel De Jong last January. It can be argued they never have since the days of Gennaro Gattuso and Mark van Bommel. Also, being 27 he allows for Milan to provide some sort of short-term fix until the likes of Manuel Locatelli and Jose Mauri develop.
He is a major upgrade from Montolivo and would be welcomed at the Red Side of Milan.

Simone Zaza

The villain of Euro 2016 could be the man heading to the Fashion Capital.
His scoring prowess is not doubted and has shown his striking instincts inside the 18-yard box for Juventus and Sassuolo on numerous occasions. With Carlos Bacca’s future at the club heavily clouded, the man to replace him could be Zaza. Struggling for game-time behind Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuian and Mario Mandzukic will force the Italian International into heavy consideration about his future. A guaranteed starting role would await him at the
Rossoneri, as would a potential partnership with Bacca if he stays.
He is now 25 and is getting to the stage of his career where he has to make a decision as to where his future lies. A Milan under the watchful guise of Montella may be the answer.

Mateo Musacchio

Heavily targeted but still no final product.
The Argentinian from Villarreal has been on Milan’s transfer wish-list the entire off-season. With numerous offers being placed for the Yellow-Submarine centre-back, a lot will come to who can offer the most. Milan are reluctant to spend more than 25 million euros for Musacchio’s services, but could be a major in for the Rossoneri. With this signing, it would provide Milan with the best defensive depth they have had their disposal since the days of 2011. Injury prone, but at his best is one of the best in the La Liga. Could be a massive in if Galliani and go can get the deal done.
With Caceres along with Musacchio heavy on Milan’s wish-list, the two could provide a new lease of life to a deteriorating defence. Could this be the beginning of a back three which Montella used to utmost success during his tenure at the Viola. Romagnoli, Caceres and Musacchio does sound tasteful…

Veteran striker Alessandro Matri will play for his sixth Serie A club in four seasons, after his transfer to Sassuolo from AC Milan.
With his contract at AC Milan expiring at the end of the season, Alessandro Matri has completed a permanent move to Sassuolo.
Matri, who turns 32 later this week, underwent his medical on Tuesday with Sassuolo confirming the transfer.
Milan, via a statement, sent their well wishes to the journeyman striker.
