W ith most big European football clubs currently meeting to discuss transfers, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has met with Barcelona officials to converse about the prospect of a European Super League.
Present at the table were large delegations from each of the two clubs. The Rossoneri were led by Galliani and executive director Umberto Gandini, who is among other things, the vice-president of the European Club Association.
On the other side, the Catalan club were led by Ariedo Braida, an old acquaintance of the Diavolo, who is now working on behalf of Barca in the foreign market, along with some senior representatives of the 2015/16 La Liga champions.
Both clubs are prepared to continue the argument about the project further down the road, with both Juventus and Bayern Munich also thought to be interested in joining a European Super League formed of a number of the big clubs from around the continent.
