Keisuke Honda has confirmed he will leave the Rossoneri club very soon and admitted ‘these have been three-and-a-half challenging years.’

Honda’s journey at Milan was not at all what he expected it to be, as he admitted before, but it ends with a smile as his goal – in his final match for the Rossoneri at Stadio San Siro (3-0 win over Bologna) – helped Milan get to the Europa League qualification stage and return to Europe for the first time since the year 2014.

Keisuke didn’t get a lot of credit from coach Vincenzo Montella and with the Japanese’s contract expiring next season, he has decided to leave the club.
“My dear fans, thank you,” Honda wrote on his
Twitter account. “These have been three-and-a-half challenging years, but because of that I’ve grown as a person.

“I’m going to leave Milan after this season, but I hope to see you again. Maybe then I won’t be a player anymore, who knows how we’ll see each other again?

“I’ll continue to work hard every day to achieve my objectives. Forza Milan!” Honda joined in January 2014 after finishing his contract at CSKA; he made 90 appearances and scored 11 goals.

*LazioChannel | Milan have offered €40m for both Keita and Biglia, whose contracts expire in 2018. Lazio want €55m for the duo.*

Meantime, newly promoted Serie A side SPAL are reported to be interested in signing out of favour striker Gianluca Lapadula who joined the
rossoneri last summer but may be shown the exit door at the end of the season given that several new strikers are expected to move to the San Siro.

Giacomo Bonaventura’s recovery is going well and he will be ready for the first training session of the 2018-19 season.

Bonaventura suffered a lesion to his left adductor longus tendon during the 2-1 defeat to Udinese in January and his season ended then, as he required surgery and has been out of action ever since.

As reported on acmilan.com, yesterday Jack was at Milanello and underwent personalized training. On Thursday, however, the Italian midfielder / winger started training with his teammates.

MilanTV suggests that the 27-year-old, who extended his contract until 2020 before his injury, is expected to be all-healthy when the preparations for next season start at Milanello in early July.

The Curva Sud blame Mino Raiola for the whole Gianluigi Donnarumma contract saga and ask the player to ‘prove his character and his love for Milan, not with kisses but with concrete facts’.

The contract of Donnarumma expires in June 2018 and the new Milan ownership has offered him a new five-year deal believed to be worth €4.5m a season.
But Gigio, represented by Mino Raiola, hasn’t yet given his answer regarding the contract and reports earlier today suggested that he’ll be taking a week more to decide whether to accept the offer of Milan or not.

The hold-up, it’s said, is also due to Raiola’s demands to insert certain clause to Donnarumma’s contract (a buy-out clause for instance) – something Milan are not willing to do. Now the Curva Sud, il Diavolo’s ultras group, released a statement regarding their stand in the whole situation.

“We write these lines in spite of ourselves, because we think the situation being created with ‘case Donnarumma’ is crazy,” the Curva Sud wrote on their official website. “We’re talking about a phenomenon, but one who is very young and in the hands of an unscrupulous agent, and he finds himself in a situation which is making Milan fans and the club more than a little nervous.

While in Germany today for all but confirmed signing Ricardo Rodriguez, Fassone has submitted a big bid for Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international has constantly been linked with a move back to Milan following the Chinese takeover, and with their mega-bucks who’s to say it can’t happen?

Following Saturday’s Champions League final, Alvaro Morata said “Madrid is my home, and Juve is my second home”. That seemingly put the rumours of the Spanish striker returning to Italy to dawn the red and black, to rest.

The offer for Morata was a reported €7.5 million a season as Milan had offered the European champions €60 million for the service of Alvaro Morata.

La Gazzetta suggest that Milan have offered Aubameyang and Dortmund the same exact figure for last season’s Bundesliga top scorer.

It is also worth noting that the former Milan academy prospect had a rumoured agreement with French capital club PSG, however that may have turned out to be false, but the interest from Emery’s squad is concrete. Clubs from the Chinese Super League are interested in signing Aubameyang as well.

Massimiliano Mirabelli had a three-hour meeting with the agent of Andrea Conti, and it’s reported that the fullback has given his ‘yes’ for the transfer.

Moments after announcing the arrival of Ricardo Rodriguez, the agent of Atalanta’s Conti, Mario Giuffredi, walked into Casa Milan for a meeting with the Diavolo director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli.

The meeting lasted over three hours and according to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia, it was a very fruitful meeting as Conti and Milan have found an agreement.

SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla is reporting the same thing and adds that Milan have offered a five-year deal, worth €2m a season. The next part, however, is trickier as it’s now needed to reach a deal with Atalanta; Milannews.it and Pedulla claim that the club from Bergamo will demand at least €25m.

It’s also been confirmed on Thursday by Keita Baldé’s agent that Milan have a financial understanding with Lazio over the winger; the player now has to choose between Milan and Juventus.
