Kwani mfumo wa home and away haupoo?
Mfumo wa home and away upo.

Di Marzio: “If AC Milan call, winger will say yes”
Posted on October 24, 2021 by Rossonero

AC Milan failed to purchase Romain Faivre last summer but a transfer in January is highly possible.
One of AC Milan’s summer priorities was to sign a new right winger/attacking midfielder. Many names were linked to the Rossoneri but at the end the management had to settle for Junior Messias who was a back-up option rather than a top target.

In fact, Maldini and Massara’s top pick was Brest star Romain Faivre. The 23-year-old French winger possessed the necessary goal scoring and assisting skills that the Rossoneri required but finding an agreement with Brest proved difficult.

Talks lasted until the very last day of the summer transfer transfer window. Despite increasing their offer from 10 million to 12 million euros plus 3 million in add-ons. Brest decided to keep their player. The bid was pleasing but the player’s attitude of refusing to train infuriated Brest’s management and ultimately the transfer collapsed.

However, Faivre remains one of AC Milan’s objective for January. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that what happened last summer was not a final “Goodbye” but rather a “See you soon!“. If AC Milan were to call again, Faivre would say yes according to Di Marzio.

Despite the initial friction with the management, Romain Faivre is back in the Brest squad and playing a key role. In 9 appearances so far, the 23-year-old winger has scored 2 goals and assisted 4. The price tag remains the same, 15 million euros.

AC Milan interested in the most prolific striker in Europe
Posted on October 25, 2021 by Rossonero

AC Milan plan to sign a new striker soon and Basel’s star Arthur Cabral has attracted their attention with some great performances.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pietro Pellegri have agreements that expire at the end of the season. Faced with such a situation AC Milan have started to plan for life after Ibrahmovic and the signing of at least one centre forward is on the agenda. Considering the recent injuries crisis the Rossoneri could anticipate the arrival of a new striker in January.

Calcioomercato.com reports that the name of Arthur Cabral is among AC Milan’s list of targets. The 23-year-old Brazilian striker is doing very well at Basel. He has scored 21 goals and provided 6 assists in 19 appearances this season making him the most prolific striker in Europe so far.

Cabral has already exceeded the number of goals scored in the last two years. He found the back of net on 18 occasions in the 2019/2022 season and scored 20 goals in the 2020/2021 season. This year he has averaged one goal every 73 minutes attracting the attention of the Rossoneri scouts with his performances.

Cabral’s contract with Basel expires in June 2023 and his market valuation is currently between 15 and 20 million euros. His contract situation makes him very attractive for next summer. Basel hope to keep Arthur Cabral until the end of the season but many clubs will attempt to sign him in advance.

The 23-year-old striker recently earned a call-up by the Brazilian national team as a reward for his good form. In addition to AC Milan, Fiorentina are another Italian club very interested in his services. The Viola consider him as the perfect replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, who will surely leave Florence next summer.

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is considering deploying both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud from the first minute.
Even if in the very last league matches the squad did not convince in terms of compactness and general performance, AC Milan still won and scored many goals. The ranking smiles and confirms the choices of coach Stefano Pioli, able to give vivacity to the group despite the numerous absences. The Rossoneri lead Serie A together with Napoli with 7 points in front if Inter.

Although Pioli has a standard formation in mind that is bearing results, he is in front of a big temptation according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian coach is considering a more offensive AC Milan squad with two strikers. His idea is to partner together Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud.

“Ibra and Giroud playing together? Under certain conditions we can, if we find the right balance“- the AC Milan coach admitted some time ago. Pioli remains fascinated by the option of deploying two players of such experience and leadership together, as in the final minutes of the match against Bologna.

But how would it be possible to make two players like Ibrahimovic and Giroud coexist? In reality, on a tactical level, the matter is less complicated than it seems. In addition, the Bologna match has already offered some indication.

Pioli needs balance to have the two centre forwards start from the first minute. So the ideal would be not to upset the current tactical system that has proven very useful in recent years. A 4-2-3-1 formation but with greater physicality and attacking quality, with Ibra acting as a second striker behind Olivier Giroud.

The characteristics of the two forwards are very different. The Swede is a total striker, who loves to have the ball, exchange passes and feel at the center of the game. The former Chelsea star is the classic predator in the area, a typical number 9 who prefers to wait for the right ball near the opponent’s goal.

Obviously, more effort will be needed in the defence by their teammates, given that the 40-year-old Ibra and the 35-year-old Giroud will hardly be able to handle the double phase without problems. Under the right conditions it is an opportunity that Milan will certainly try.

Newcastle are looking to make huge investments on the mercato soon and AC Milan star is one of their top transfer targets.
Newcastle United are under new ownership, with a £300 million deal led by a Saudi Arabian consortium recently completed as Mike Ashley’s 14-year tenure at St James Park comes to a close. Crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, one of the wealthiest man in the world, is now the new owner of the Premier League club.

Newcastle are currently fighting to avoid Championship relegation but huge investment are expected for next summer. A rumored 250 million euros budget has been set to make Newcastle immediately title contenders and challenge other Premier League heavyweights like Manchester City & Co.

One of the top players on Newcastle’s radar is reportedly AC Milan star Theo Hernandez. The French defender has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the world attracting the attention of many clubs.

Theo Hernandez is on his third year at San Siro and has recorded 3 assists and one goal in 9 appearances so far. The 24-year-old is a key player for coach Stefano Pioli and his current contract expires in 2024.

After the recent Nations League win as a protagonist with the French national team, the market value of Theo Hernandez has skyrocketed to over 70 million euros. Besides Newcastle, other rich clubs like PSG and Manchester City are interested in the AC Milan full-back but the Rossoneri have already opened talks to extend his contract for five more years.

AC Milan could be Andrea Belotti’s next club but the Rossoneri will try to anticipate his arrival for January by using Tommaso Pogeba.
The future of Andrea Belotti is already written. The Torino captain will not renew his contract with the Granata club and will become a free agent at the end of the season. Despite Torino’s best efforts, the Italian striker has chosen to join a new club and fight for silverware after rejecting their 3.5 million per season offer.

At 27, Belotti wants to play in the Champions League and challenge for trophies something that Torino can not guarantee. AC Milan are believed to be the most likely destination for Belotti with contacts between the parties already underway.

Tuttosport reports that AC Milan will be the next club of Andrea Belotti but the Rossoneri may not wait until the summer to acquire his services. All three AC Milan strikers, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Olivier Giroud and Pietro Pellegri have had continuous physical problems so far forcing Paolo Maldini to consider the signing of a new striker in January.

According to Tuttosport, AC Milan will make an attempt to sign Belotti in advance but without paying a transfer fee. In fact, the Rossoneri could offer to extend the loan of Tommaso Pogeba for one more season in order to have Belotti immediately under Pioli’s orders in January.

Tommaso Pogeba has immediately become a key player for Torino earning the praise of coach Ivan Juric. He is a regular starter in Juric’s eleven and has found the back of the net two times on 7 appearances so far. This solution could be tailored to the needs of both clubs considering that Milan need a new striker and Torino are aware they will not be able to keep Belotti.
