Another star of Valencia’s run to the 2000 Champions League final, Farinos joined Inter that summer but struggled to replicate his form in INTER.

The midfielder returned to make 10 Serie A appearances towards the end of the 2001-02 campaign and started with the club the following season, until loans back to La Liga with Villarreal and then Mallorca was the beginning of the end of his Italian adventure.

After leading Alaves to the UEFA Cup final in 2001 and netting 22 times in La Liga, the Spaniard earned a move to Serie A giants Milan and tried his luck alongside the likes of Filippo Inzaghi and Andriy Shevchenko.

However, it quickly became apparent that Moreno may be something of a one-season-wonder and that is how long his stay with the Rossoneri lasted, with just two goals in 16 appearances.
