#Milan, #Scaroni: 'Ragnick? The choices are made by Gazidis. No madness, we don't want any more wood from UEFA 'Milan, Scaroni: 'Rangnick? Le scelte le fa Gazidis. Niente follie, non vogliamo altre legnate dall'Uefa'

Interviewed by Radio Anch'io, on Radio Rai 1, the president of Milan, Paolo Scaroni returned to talk about the future of the Rossoneri club, the resumption of the championship with the controversy in the Italian Cup and the market moves for the summer with the Financial Fair Play targeted.

ITALIAN CUP - “I was hoping that the Italian Cup was played in August for a sweeter restart, two games full of adrenaline immediately after the break are stressful for the players. In the end a compromise came out, on June 12, I remain optimistic. In the League we vote unanimously for the restart we are compact to play as soon as possible ".

RANGNICK - "Rangnick? For the moment we have confidence in Pioli I don't know if the German manager will arrive. Gazidis makes the choices, I don't even know when he talks with other candidates ... We have confidence in Pioli and Maldini".

ALGORITHM - "I remain focused on plan A, I hope that there is no need for plan B or plan C. This debate is of little interest to me, I am focused on restarting and finishing the championship on the pitch. I am convinced that we will have the virus behind relatively quickly "

COSTS AND UEFA - “We have made a great effort to cut costs. Gazidis focused on this in the future young players with reasonable prices. We don't want to take any more strings from UEFA. Financial Fair Play prevents madness, from there we could see a less insane world. Like Milan, we want to keep costs down and increase revenues. "

CRISIS - "AC Milan comes from a long period of crisis it seems utopian to think that the rebirth can happen quickly".

IBRA - "I hope Ibra can be seen again. I hope she can start playing again, I have read comforting news from Sweden.

STADIUM - "The priority goes to the new stadium in Milan and I hope to have positive news soon. The stadium is not a historical monument, we will keep the remains of the Meazza, it will not disappear from the Milanese geography, but we will build a stadium suitable for our times. The fact that there are two shareholders who want to make the most beautiful stadium in the world seems like a miracle ...

EUROPE - "I hope to arrive in Europe with the Italian Cup but if it doesn't happen we will fight in the championship".

*AC Milan are in talks with the agent of two young Brazilian forwards over the possibility of summer moves, it is claimed.*

According to transfer source Alessandro Jacobone on Twitter, Milan are not in talks over Real Madrid centre-back Eder Militao despite rumours from Spain, but research into that particular story then uncovered contacts with the player’s agent over two of his other clients.

Jacobone adds that Milan have held conversations with Giuliano Bertolucci regarding Ajax winger David Neres, who had six goals and two assists in 20 appearances across all competitions prior to suffering a knee injury.

The other player is Kaio Jorge of Santos. La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira recently claimed that Milan are firmly in the race to sign Jorge, having offered the 18-year-old the chance to immediately be a starter, though it has also been reported that Barcelona are the favourites to land the teenager in a €60m deal.

Former Milan defender Alessandro Costacurta struggles to choose between Barcelona star Lionel Messi and former Napoli hero Diego Maradona.

The former Italy international has played against both but claims football has changed enough to make it hard for him to separate the two, revealing that Maradona received tougher treatment than the current star.

“We are talking about two great players in the history of football, but in Maradona we could have made 66 fouls before being booked,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “It’s different with Leo, now it’s different.”

The 54-year-old did however recall the first time he faced the current Barcelona and Argentina talisman, when a 16-year-old Messi made him call for a substitution.

“Messi is more ingenious than Maradona, even though they are very similar geniuses,” he added. “I thought he was a child and that I would do what I wanted with him. But after a quarter of an hour, I had to ask [Carlo] Ancelotti for a change.”
