Paolo Maldini is the only Italian to be included in France
Football’s all-time dream team.

With the Ballon d’Or that was not awarded for the year 2020 as
a result of the COVID pandemic, the publication has presented
its all-time dream team.

Paolo Maldini is the only Italian to feature in the XI even
though the Milan legend did not win the Ballon d’Or during his
playing career.

Juventus’ star Cristiano Ronaldo has also been included in the
team alongside Barcelona’s Leo Messi and Napoli legend
Diego Armando Maradona.

Maldini was chosen for his “style and elegance” and for “for a
certain idea of football which is no longer there and even just
for his loyalty to Milan where he played from 17 to 41 years.”

📰Paolò Condò: Mino Raiola is in trouble because his client, Donnarumma, wants to stay with AC Milan for life which is not good news for a football agent.
Gigio Donnarumma always tells him: 'Get everything you can get, taking into account that I want to play for Milan.' https://t.co/XWIiReDMuV

Theo Hernández spoke on the microphones of 'El transistor'

On a return to Madrid: “I don't see myself returning to Real. If I could, I would always stay at Milan.

On his performances for the Rossoneri: "Since I have been at Milan I have played quite well, against Parma was one of my best games. I think I am in the best moment of my career."

On the call-up to the national team: "I said it from the first moment, I want to play for France".

On Serie A: “The Italian league is more physical than the Spanish one. In La Liga the ball has more prominence. The training here is more difficult than in Madrid ”.

If in Madrid they regret it: “I don't know if they will have regretted my departure in Madrid ... I arrived at Real Madrid very young and I didn't have minutes. It was complicated because I didn't have confidence, which I now have. Since I've been at Milan I've been playing pretty well. "

On the Scudetto: "For many years Milan is no longer as we are now, I think we can take the title away from Juventus."

On Ibrahimovic: "Ibra is an incredible player, he helps us and advises us a lot and well".

On Diaz: "Brahim is an excellent player, he's doing very well."

As reported by Peppe Di Stefano to Sky Sport, Theo Hernandez has disposed of the fatigue that prevented him from taking the field in yesterday's match against Genoa. The French side will therefore be regularly on the pitch in Sunday afternoon's match against Sassuolo.

According to A Bola, Milan striker Rafael Leao’s assets were frozen in Portugal as part of Sporting CP’s legal action against the player.

The 21-year-old was able to leave Sporting as a free agent in the summer of 2018 after suing the club for just cause, following the invasion of around 50 masked hooligans into their training ground in May 2018.

The ultras attacked players and staff, prompting several members of the squad to unilaterally tear up their contracts.

It’s a legal battle Sporting have been fighting ever since to get recompense for the lost income and they had won the most recent chapter in March 2020, forcing Leao to pay €16.5m.

A new hearing will be held at the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) on January 26, with Sporting hoping to get €45m from both Leao and his old club Lille.

According to A Bola, in the build-up to that appeal, Leao’s assets in Portugal are frozen because he cannot pay the €16.5m.

Milan paid Lille €23m for Leao in August 2019.

Pioli: ‘Milan concede too much’

by Football Italia

Stefano Pioli says Milan concede too many goals but believes the Rossoneri picked up a draw in a ‘complicated game.’
The Rossoneri were held to a 2-2 draw away at Genoa, but remain Serie A leaders with a one-point lead over Inter.
“It’s a draw in a complicated game, on a difficult pitch,” Pioli told DAZN.

“We could take the lead in the first half and the match would have changed tactically. We gave it all and we took an important result.
“We allowed two goals without conceding much. In general, we are conceding too many goals. It was a tough game, the pitch didn’t allow us to be precise technically, we tried to win it till the end, unluckily we didn’t make it.”
Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer didn’t play because of injuries.
“When you have five-six players out of action the team changes its characteristics, we didn’t have many injuries before, by the way those who played did well.
“Genoa defended well with [Paolo] Ghiglione, they created trouble for us but we kept the ball possession, we remained into the game, we played, there are absences but the team must give answers as they are doing, we are playing positive games, giving all we need to snatch good results,” Pioli continued.

The Rossoneri will face Sassuolo and Lazio before the Christmas break.
“I don’t think the next two games will tell us where we can get, our target is to improve what we did last season, it would be a great result to qualify for the Champions League.
“The next two games will be important, we come from a period with many, many games. We are only at the beginning we can’t feel tiredness until the end, we must continue like this.”
What does he expect as a Christmas present?
“Positive performances in the next two games, we need to obtain the maximum, we need important performances and two positive results to have a serene Christmas.”
Does he expect a contract extension?
“I am happy to be the coach of this group, we’ll see what happens in the future,” the Italian coach concluded.

🎙️Di Caro:"In the summer Schalke had to give a price, there was even talk of €30M+bonus. I think that given the current financial and sporting situation, they'll sell him for about 23M/25M€ considering the amount of Kumbulla and the request for Lovato, Kabak is much stronger."
