naona unarudi kwenye historia ila ndio hivyo mavi ya kale hayanuki, bingwa wa sasa sio milan - ni timu ya pirlo i.e. juve!

Veteran midfielder Clarence Seedorf insists he has no intentions of retiring and could stay at AC Milan.

Veteran midfielder Clarence Seedorf insists he has no intentions of retiring and could stay at AC Milan.

The 36-year-old said before last Sunday's game against Novara that it would be his last game for the Serie A club, and reports from Brazil had suggested he was on the verge of joining Botafogo.

However, Seedorf appears to have changed his mind and could now remain at the San Siro club.

"I do not rule anything out, not even staying at Milan. I am taking a week to think about it and make a decision calmly," he told La7.

"I will definitely not retire, though. I want to play for two or three more years."

Seedorf's contract with Milan is due to expire in June.

He joined AC Milan in 2002 after previous stints with city rivals Inter, Real Madrid, Sampdoria and Ajax.

The Daily Mail has reported that Alex Ferguson is considering a shock move for AC Milan’s Kevin-Prince Boateng in his recurring conquest to strengthen his midfield.

With names such as Hazard, Kagawa, and the constant rumours of Sneijder all being brought up to play in the attacking midfield position which Ferguson wants to fill, the transfer of Kevin-Prince Boateng would certainly raise a lot of eyebrows.

Although Boateng has shown some sensational ability in the Champions League games, impressing the rest of Europe, he is very injury prone and as a result has missed around half of all of AC Milan’s games.

However, scoring 9 goals in 27 games is a great record for any midfielder and would certainly attract the eyes of Sir Alex, and his price tag would certainly please the owners too.

His current wage is £30,000 which is 10% what Eden Hazard is reportedly wanting to earn after he confirmed that his 3 potential clubs are: Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.

So whilst the 25 year old would definitely be cheaper than the alternatives, does this mean people should expect less from him?

Technically yes. Shinji Kagawa is rumoured to be the top of United’s transfer hopes, and there is a good reason for that in comparison to players such as Boateng. Whilst Boateng has received 3 yellow cards and 2 red cards in his 19 Serie A games, Kagawa has only received 1 yellow card this season, in 40 appearances.

Not only this but Kagawa has a higher successful pass percentage by 5% in comparison to Boateng. Finally, Kagawa has been involved in 25 of Dortmund’s goals this season including assists, compared to Boateng’s 13.

There is no doubt that Boateng is a great player for AC Milan and would be much more affordable, but if Fergie should purchase him remains debatable.
