Before we start on how we cook your pasta, do you know these types of pasta?
It's really awesome how most countries in Africa simply just call other shaped pasta "macaroni" while they have various names... apart from macaroni which one did you know from the picture above?
How do you cook your macaroni or spaghetti?
Because I simply boil the pasta in water and add salt and mono sodium glutamate (Ajinomoto)
And that goes with a sauce of minced meat that is simply added in the pot with onions, garlic(enough of it), oregano, basil leaves, tomatoes blended and tomato paste till the meat is cooked.
The combination of that is amazing, feels like paradise...
Some love to add cheese, some will add mint (fodino) and coriander leaves (girigilani, kotimilo).
