Hemiplegia patient is the patient who is half paralysed. This patient can not show any kind of movement like walking, speaking, eating and so on. Paralysis occur due to brain damage or spinal cord injury. So, these patients are in need of help incase of emergency.

The solution of this problem is as follows;
- Designing of a device that will be kept on the patient arm ( the one which is not paralysed) then this device will have GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) that will consist of a mobile line that will be programmed four messages (like I NEED FOOD , I WANT TO GO TOILET , I WANT TO WATCH TV, I AM IN CRITICAL CONDITION and I NEED WATER) at an angle of 45° and 90°. Those messages will be sent to the attendant's mobilephone ( like nurse, doctor, etc) who is responsible for giving services to that patient then that attendant will come and provide the intended service.

- This device will work by twisting arm in x,y and z plane of an arm . The device will have a LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) that will be part of the device which will display the intended message after twisting the arm.
Those messages can be programmed in different languages according to the mother tongue of the patient and the attendant.

Advantages of this system.
1) This system will solve the problem of communication barrier between the patient and attendant.
2) Also, this device will be used by any other patient(s) who may have difficulties in speaking and can not move from one place to another.
3) Incase the patient is in critical condition and the attendant is far, it is easier for the information to be sent to the attendant and come to provide help.
4) It saves the patients life.
5) The devices will raise the economy of the country by exporting the devices to other nations who are in need of them.
6) It will led to improvement of rehabilitation departments in hospitals.
7) It is a simple technology, it components are less costly compared to other huge devices.

CONCLUSION
  • For the success of our health sector we need to upgrade the services given to the patients who are in worse condition.
  • I hope this technology will work out there is an attachment that is the sample of that device.
  • Thank you www.jamiiforum.com www.jamiiforum.com
