How to support each other when life gets tough

Obstacles, setbacks and losses are a part of life; a fact of life even. But there are antidotes to help you and your loved ones get through difficult times and even draw positives from overtly negative situations. Accept that bad things happen To move forward after a setback you have to accept that sometimes life sucks. This sounds ridiculous, but bad situations can be a catalyst for something better. Take the opportunity to reexamine your life - be at home or work - and take the chance to add new life or career skills to your resume. Make a sad soundtrack Compile a playlist of your favourite sad songs and spend a short amount of time, when necessary, to sit down and listen to it. You may feel upset, but experts say it allows time to compartmentalize your low periods and get them out of your system allowing you to move on with your day. Talk to people Your friends and family will intuitively want to help you through difficult times. It is up to you to help them do so. Most of us continually run bad thoughts and memories through our minds and sharing them with others can offload the pressure of negative feelings and often allow you to see a brighter way forward. See the endpoint Remember that bad times dont last forever. It is easy to let bad moments get the better of us and taint the otherwise good parts of our life. We have all thought to ourselves why does nothing ever go right, when we know that this is simply not true. Setbacks and obstacles often lead on to better things and bear in mind that many believe fate often plays a huge part in life. Exercise and a healthy diet will make dealing with life problems easier. An active lifestyle and clean diet makes for a clear head and if you feel better, you will look better, which all lends to a massive self-morale boost. Take exercise three times a week for 45 minutes and see how much better you feel in two weeks.
