In fact lately I have had some crazy thoughts about break ins. I live in a peaceful area, but at the same time there has been some inicdents reported on our local newspaper. I was telling my husband that I have to buy those locks like in Tanzania, especially since our door has no protection at all. It is covered with just a glass, so it is kinda of easy to break in. With the pressure of the economy and lots of lay offs, people will do anything out of desperation. My husband is laughing at me, but I would rather be caution than be sorry when things really take a different turn. Well you should try to be safe when walking to your car. Have the sharper end of your key between your fingers. Also may be you can but pepper spray if your state has not restriction.
Pole sana and be alert all the time and be safe. We will pray for you.

Thank you Kilandu...actual my cupcake told me to buy papper spary a while back nika-ignore...and the other thing that i am worried ni kwamba my front door ni glass door kama ulivyosema wa kwako ulivyo...
Anyways, I am going to Home Depot this weekend, so if I find anything that is worth reporting to you, I will let you know. Unajua rationale of a thief is very impressive. Thieves make careful decision before making any move. There is a study that I once read in my urban economics class and it mentioned how it is more likely for a thief to make an attempt in suburbian areas than in the cities. One of the reason the author mentioned was that in the suburbs there is a possibility of getting something valuable, and also there is not a whole lot of police commotion like in the cities. Many people in the suburbs take their safety for granted. Wamezoea hali ya usalama and thats why sometimes thieves make an attempt. If your county offers defense classes, make sure you take advantage of them. The way you talk about parking it almost seem like you live in Boston or Chicago. if you are in Boston. Anyways just be safe my dear.

Huko majuu mna shida sana.......mimi uswazi huku vibaka wenghi nimekuwa nao ninachofanya ni kuwa masela wao......kila asubuhi ukitoka unawafata kijiweni na kuwapa za fegi na kumbuka kila ukirudi unakuja na paketi ya SM au Sportsman.....
aaaah sipigwi ngeta wala siibiwi hao hao ndio walinzi wangu......

Kilandu..thank you very much i will appreciate that aisee....and if you dont mind me asking hizo papper spray nitapata wapi?i really need them for my defence and also i am going to inroll myself in a self awareness classes this evening maana naona hali siyo nzuri...i figured out lazima these people has been watching my moves and find out i am the only female who live in the building and the rest ni couples and also wameshajua kuw aonce nikiingia ndani idont get out....ndiyo maana they took their time kutaka kuondoka hiyo stereo ya gari hadi wameshidnwa na kuamua kubomoa dash board kabisa...besides hakuna mtu kwenye parking lot most of the time kunakuwa kimya sana...watu wakishaingia majumbani kwao wanakuwa hawatoki.....

YO YO Vibaka wote wa kinondoni miye walikuwa washikaji..kuna this one time nilikuwa nakwenda kanisani kule kinondoni lutheran...nilichukua mchuma siku hiyo since the day before nilichukua gari ya mdingi nikaenda kujirusha na marafiki zangu kumbe alikuwa anahitaji so siku ya jumapili nikaambia nichukue mchuma kwenda kanisani...nilivaa gold zangu nilisahau kabisa kama kuna vibaka mwenyewe natembea taratibu na steleto zangu sina hili wala lile maana nilikuwa nahasira sana kwa sababu nimenyima gari nimeambiwa nipande mchuma (sister do enzi hizo)...olooo yaani within a second nilisikia nimepigwa ngala na sikio chwaaaaa,shingoni nikavutwa! kuangalia nipo chini kwenye vumbi...jamaa huyo anatokomea na madereva wa teski wanamunaglia tuu mwenyewe nakazana mwizimwizi...toka siku hiyo nikaanzisha urafiki nao....thoug nilikuwa siishi kinondoni juu but i had too go kulikuwa na dereva mmoja wa teksi aliniunganisha nao so sinc then wakawa washikaji nikawa siguswiii.

Ni kweli BAK!...not only sina raha sina amani kabisa najiuliza myself how did they do it?..why wamebomoa ile dash board yote si na hii baridi jamani eeh maana hakuna heater naendesha gari ambayo inaingiza baridi and its damn 20degrees outside...naogopa hata kuingia ndani kwangu...

I am not sure what state you are, but in Boston, it is illegal to carry one without registration. So you can ask around on the rules of carrying pepper spray. I think depending on the states rule, target used to carry them. So look around target stores and even walmart.
