Information Communication Technology [ICT] Authority has recruited 400 ICT interns through the presidential digital talent programme, phase three.Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Information, Communication And Technology Jerome Ochieng has reiterated that the government is leveraging on ICT to enhance service delivery to Kenyans.

Will you ever see anything positive Kenya does without lambasting every initiative as hopeless?
It could be that the 400 ICT interns are the first of the other lots to come. Don't forget that interns have to be matched with desired skill-set to be acquired hence needs meticulous layout...,they're in their thousands mark you!

Stop being always cynical and see the brighter side of things a times!

You suspended your brains and cannot think beyond Jubilee PR. The country have a shortage of close to 80k teachers, 1000 doctors are yet to Join MoH payroll.
You believe such plain campaign lies such as these and cheer on when a bunch of 400 interns are employed to blind your eyes to the real issues that there is acute shortage of manpower in critical areas such as health and education

May be you are not aware that I rarely ever discuss Personalities, Raila has not moved on to anything, and if he has am not aware, what am aware of is that There are talks to resolve the problems like these on going..The results of those talks will determine if there is any "moving on".

What am saying is this: Employing 400 interns is good for them individualy, But its nothing for the nation and actualy a show of lack of priorities when 1000 qualified doctors are yet to Join MoH.
Its a PR exercise, good for the newspapers

Fair enough! It's just but the beginning of a long trip of rehabilitating our trained personnel. Regrettably this would have been avoided if budget allocations in absorption of teachers/docs were in tandem with both demand and graduate rollouts.
