Famine/ hunger is NOT a production / distribution problem its an income problem..People in Nairobi have money/ some form of income and food always follows money..that tell you the plight of millions of kenyansA lot of food is available and wasted in Nairobi and other urban areas.
There is food in Kenya.
The problem is how to get it to those distant huts in isolated parts of Kenya.
We have been doing this wrong, those people should move to urban areas.
Why have we never heard anyone dying of hunger in Nairobi or any other urban area?

So what, just that is enough?, people are dying left and right, economic hardship is hurting every Kenyans daily, standard of living is going down, but so long as you read about GDP, you feel comfortable. Purely failed state mentality.

Yes, and despite Tz being less urbanized than kenya, you will never see such kind of pictures in any village..It can only mean 1 thing Tz peasants have money, they can till their own land or buy food๐Rich countries are heavily urbanized.
There are typically jobs in urban areas. These people in Turkana continue to live the same way their ancestors did hundreds of years ago, yet barter trade ended many years ago.
They have to change their customs and engage in money generating activities. That can only happen if they live in towns or cities.
They will buy their own food and not wait for government aid.
If somehow they were making money in their current state, I'm sure distribution would follow. Where there is money to be made businessmen will go.
