Bagamoyo Sugar Ltd was incorporated on 01 December 2016 as a sugarcane production and processing subsidiary of the Bakhresa Group, following the acceptance of the land offered by the Government.
Bagamoyo Sugar Ltd aims to alleviate the shortfall in domestic sugar supply by developing a sugar cane plantation and set up a green-field integrated sugar processing plant for sugar production.
The Bagamoyo Greenfield Sugar Project has already been launched and sits less than 80km from Tanzania’s commercial capital, Dar-Es-Salaam. Near the historical town of Bagamoyo in the coastal region, the construction work for the brand new sugar factory is already in progress.
The company brought a number of innovative solutions which is being deployed in incremental phases whilst setting up the multi-million dollar sugar production facility.

- Driving Licence Class G and Certificate for Tractor Operations Training.
- At least three (3) Working experience in Operating in Field Tractor.
