Investing in the Dar Es Salaam Securities Exchange

Kenya Commercial Bank is the largest bank in EA....kuhusu TZ, dont invest in anything apart from mining, tourism and construction sectors...

Do you have any insights about DSE? Or you just speak out of thin air?

Hujui kitu kuhusu Tanzania wewe, hamna kampuni kubwa za ujenzi na utalii (nadhani hamna kabisa) kwenye soko letu la hisa.

Cement companies are in construction sector ie. Twiga, Simba.

Kwa wakenya wanaouliza ni vipi wanavoyweza kuwekeza katika hisa la Dar. Unaweza kuwekeza kwa kuongea na benki za Kenya zilimo Tanzania. E.g. dtb etc. Wana brokerages za kukusaidia.

I am sure investing in construction in Dar is a very bad idea since the market is dominated by external players. Case in point Dangote who is underpricing his cement and in just a few years is already commanding 23% market share of the cement industry in Tz.

I like banks. Mining sector naona Magufuli aliwapa ultimatum to list on DSE so we will wait until the finish cooking their books first [emoji23] But should it list, Acacia would be a good investment since this tax scandal has really undercut on their share price and may be an opportunity to fetch it at a low PE

Ubaya sijapata tovuti inayo real time data of the DSE. Kuna Mtanzania anayeweza kutupoint in the right direction?

Nop,
If he can invest in Agriculture he will count for profits,
By the way, he need to know exactly what he want to do., hapo ni rahisi kusaidika.

Mimi ndiye niliyeanzisha mada. What I am looking for is an opportunity to buy into Tanzanian companies that are well run and undervalued and exit at higher prices in the long term. I really don't care about the industry as long as the company has a good year on year balance sheet, good management and is not in loggerheads with the GOT. I am looking at high EPS values and reasonable PE values.

Shida na soko la DSE ni kua halijaendelea sana kana kwamba kupata such information is very hard.

But I really like Vodacom and would like to invest in their IPO for example.

CRDB is the largest and well perfoming listed bank in Tanzania if not in eac.

For more information you can visit the websiteDSE & CMSA.
Sitaki kuanza Kenya vs Tanzania competition hapa tafadhali but please this is a financial discussion so please use facts rather than your sense of patriotism

CRDB is way smaller.compared to KCB or Equity. But I like their expansion plans even though that led them to a loss last year. I was hoping they would invest more in tech though

I would go for NMB rather than CRDB, CRDB CEO is an experienced guy but I think he can't handle turmoils in banking sector.
Thought that exactly.
Seems my interest will gravitate around Acacia, vodacom and perhaps the NMB bank. Could you share more info if you don't mind on the 3, p/e, divided yield and what you think of their ceos. Hi drama ya magufuli in the mining sector, could it affect acacia even further ama inaisha?
