Umegonga ndipo na hio zegere ya SS maana so long as kuna mchafuko basi yale mafanikio ya Lapset ndo basi tena.
marais wengi africa na duniani kote hawana utu kabisa huo utu ndio mtu akipata anakuwa bora sana..thank you mr president for doing this
Dhuks,
heshima mbele.
I can't trust the Chinese for nothing. Kenya has always been a capitalist economy and I will stick with that.
Hii biashara na wa-China at the end of the day the Chinese will have the last laugh. That I have no doubts.
Pili hio ishu unataka kusema eti miradi ya wazungu imekwama ni kwa sababu ya uzembe wa wakenya
wenyewe. It has nothing to do with the 'wazungus'. Corruption in KE flourishes in leaps and bounds like
it has a life of its own. People steal money meant for projects, demand kickbacks for almost everything,
bickering and politics stall all these projects. That has nothing to do with the donors.
Clear up that beast called corruption then everything else will fall into place. Hata hio tender ya SGR is
riddled with question marks. Jana tu, Laptop tender imekua cancelled yet watu walikua wanaifagilia like
its the best thing that ever happened 'since the invention of sliced bread'.
Kazi ipo.

oh this is pretty obvious jiulize why multiparty came to kenya, that is the only way donors could only give aid. and too much aid has ended up in pple pockets or diverted for the wrong purposes in the name of corruption. what goes on hata wakati huu ni watu kuandika na kuexchange policy documents ndefu na nyingi bila kutenda kazi.
In no way would i abet corruption in the civil service so i would probably give the likes of IMF and World Bank kudos for pointing it out. But i would appreciate if you went a step further and queried their rationale of questioning that corruption, seems corruption is only involved when they are not given priority to fund a project. You should be glad the laptop project was stopped by Kenya,s internal audit sytems and not puke on our shoes type of thing.
In short if we entirely relied on IMF and World Bank to fund our infrastructural systems, Thika road expansion would not have materialised, Turkana Wind power project would be lacking requisite guarantees, Nairobi would not be having any bypasses, Infrastructure to transmit power from Ethiopia to Kenya and possibly to Tanzania would have ground to a halt and so many other projects that these people would not touch without saying ammend this in your law, in your fiscal policy etc
In all those either the Chinese or the African Development bank came to our aid so why would i not trust them? Remember that Kenya has only a single stadium that we can say is world class and it was a gift from those guys who you dont wanna trust.
Duru za kuaminika zasema kuwa the same guys want to fund some of Lapsset projects but through........wait for it ...........single sourcing, does the standard gauge railway project and the accompanying noise ring a bell? preaching water and taking wine.
Morio sema,
as usual you have your way of seeing things. Sasa unataka watu wakubali hii longo longo etu multi-party
came to Kenya because of donors. Yaani you dont even have faith in yourself. Multi-party came to Kenya
coz the people fought for it...The magnificent citizens of Kenya. Hao donors simply gave it the uumph!
Give the fighters of the second liberation credit please.
Fair enough.
Kenyan is not broke neither will it broke anytime soon. The economy grew by 5.6 per cent last years, estimates say. It is expected to grow by 6.0 per cent or more in 2014.However, the huge salary bill, brought about the last nusu mkate government is unsustainable. The government is simply warning that we could go the way of Greece if we allow it to balloon. WE must stem the tide before it becomes impossible. This problem was pointed out by Economists and Accountants way back in 2005 when they warned that the proposed devolved government will be unsustainable. Recent discussions have targeted the errors of that new constitution as being the cause of the unsustainable wage bill. We could soon trim some of the excess of the constitution which has reduced Kenya to one big "gravy train."I respect these guys for being open. They have decided to face the challenge the way it supposed to be!

Dont be evasive, i expected more.
Are you aware that before Thika road Nairobi were to have Mombasa road expanded from Athi river to Westlands and all the roundabouts removed then a another dual road constructed from Mombasa road to Kikuyu town to ease off pressure on Mombasa road via city center? That other road was taken by Chinese and is almost complete now.
Meanwhile funding for construction of Mombasa road was withdrawn after the bank had issues with Russian consortium which had won the contract, after some years the Kenya government prepared another round of talks on funding and it was approved for funding in 2012, we are in 1014 and not even a grader on site. Had it been funded by the chinese we would be repaying the loan of a complete project now.
Africa is a place to be left out and forgotten!
Kwa nini tena mazee?

Quote your source.Kenya economy grew less than 4% last year stop raising the numbers
The new constitution, which he supported to the hilt, could proof to the the hangman's noose for his political career. Is it going to be possible to trim those excessive constitution bills when Raila is still alive? I am trying to imagine....he sleeps well because that constitution is in full swing now.
