Is lockdown and mass testing working in Kenya?

Kenya did 26,000 tests and got 490 positive results while Tanzania only did 600 and got 480 positive tests. Can you see how bad your country is?

I don't understand these people at all. Right now Magufuli has fired the director of National laboratory blaming them and at the same time blaming the test kits. I just need one person from Tanzania to tell me what's the problem, is the test kits or the lab technicians?

Experts in Pointing fingers at each other, damn shit Africans, this disease came from far West and what you are doing now is mocking each other's Country like there's something to be proud of! Shame on You!!

What is

Yes, this was meant to cut off mass spread country wide and flash out pockets of infections. And that's being achieved.

Is this not the biggest number of cases ever announced? Is the cup half full or half empty?

What's your observation!..

Well, for me it's very likely the so called 'partial lockdown' or curfew was and isn't that helpful in Kenya and other countries for that matter. For diseases that spread so rapidly as COVID-19, 'half measures' are not helpful. You either do 'full lockdown' and do that 'forever' or not.

Then your observation ain't on point. Patial lockdown and cessation of movement has helped spread of the virus countrywide. The numbers of infections you are hearing of are mostly from old Mombasa and Eastleigh.
