PRE-QUALIFICATION OF LOCAL SUPPLIERS​

Africare is an International Non-profit Organization working to improve the quality of life of the people in Africa. In Tanzania, Africare works with various ministries and institutions to implement development programs. Since 1994 Africare has implemented development projects in the following sectors, education, health, agriculture and food security, water and sanitation, natural resources management and HIV/AIDS. Africare is inviting interested and competent suppliers that are willing to be pre-qualified for the supply of goods and services for year 2012 as listed below;

1. Computing equipment servicing and maintenance
2. Courier services
3. Fuel Supply
4. Internet services
5. Office/House and Housing (Electrical/Plumbing) maintenance
6. Supply of general stationery
7. Travel agency Bookings
8. Various insurance ( Accident, Motor Vehicle, workers compensation)
9. Vehicle repair and maintenance service

Mode of Submission

• Applicants must submit adequate information i.e. Company name, physical location, mail box, telephone numbers, contact person, business license, TIN and VRN (if applicable)
• Applicants should indicate their capacity of supplying goods or services in the categories of their choice.
• Short-listed suppliers in the respective categories will be requested to submit quotations as and when specific needs arise, then contracts will be issued on competitive basis
• Interested suppliers have to submit their applications to the undersigned not later than 24[SUP]th[/SUP] April, 2012. Applicants must indicate clearly on the envelope the category of goods and services that the company is interested in and category number e.g. Supply of general stationery, printing, etc

Applications can be delivered by hand to Africare Offices, at Ada Estate Plot No.116, Galu Street, Remember, envelopes must be clearly labelled & sealed.
