boy, kama hauna ufahamu wa aviation industry sema uelezwe kaka. you sound soooo dump!!!!! hivi ndivyo hii sekta uandeshwe, its so damn expensive to buy brand new planes. sometimes it doesnt make economic sense!!!
Kenya Airways leases out plane to Turkish Airlines

Kenya Airways has signed a lease agreement with Turkish Airlines for one of its three Boeing 777-300 aircraft as part of cost-cutting measures the national carrier is undertaking.
KQ, as the airline is known by its international code, says the aircraft has since been deregistered in Kenya and subsequently re-registered with the European carrier.
The national carrier, which is under financial strain, has this year sold two Boeing 777-200 planes to US-based carrier Omni Air International and entered into a lease agreement for another pair of Boeing 787 planes with Middle Eastern airline Oman Air.
Omni Air International has already taken possession of the two aircrafts while Oman has received just one.

Look now you are exposing your blunders. Poor Kenyans, you rushed into airline industry with all sense of pride only to sell all of your aircraft after a massive failure to run and oporeate your company... Even Rwanda Airways and Uganda airways followed your suit. Tanzania only is still surviving in the game with all new fleets of air crafts...

Air Tanzania (TC, Dar-es-Salaam) is supplementing its current all-turboprop fleet of one Dash 8-300(inactive) and two Dash 8-400s with a CRJ-100.
Skyliner Aviation reports the Tanzanian state-owned carrier is wet-leasing ZS-CMH (msn 7292) from South African ACMI/charter specialist CemAir (5Z, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo).
AIr Tanzania is in the process of relaunching its operations following President John Magafuli's decision to revamp the East African state's moribund public institutions last year. At present, Air Tanzania, through state-owned lessor TGF - Tanzanian Government Flight (Dar-es-Salaam), is in line to receive two CS300s and one Dash 8-400 from Bombardier (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) and one "Terrible Teen" B787-8 from Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare).

Jambojet has received an air service licence (ASL) from the aviation regulator, paving the way for the low-cost carrier to commence international flights by the end of the year.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), through a gazette notice on Friday, gave the budget airline a one-year greenlight to fly to 16 routes using the Boeing 737, Bombardier Q400 and the ATR 72 aircraft.
Jambojet, a subsidiary of Kenya Airways, had applied to fly between JKIA and Entebbe, Addis Ababa, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza, Kigali, Juba, Bujumbura, Hargeisa, Mogadishu, Goma, Kisangani and Moroni.
“Licence granted for one year with effect from May 4, 2017 for international scheduled air services,” KCAA said in the notice.
Jambojet, which was launched in 2014, currently flies to six routes in Kenya; between Nairobi and Mombasa, Eldoret, Kisumu, Lamu, Malindi and Ukunda.
A week ago, the budget carrier acquired a new 78-seater Bombardier Q400 from a Moscow-based leasing company as part of its expansion, with plans to lease another in November.
