18 Year Old James Bogere scored a late stunner in South Africa to earn the Uganda Cranes a 1-1 draw against DR Congo.
The teenage forward came off the bench and latched onto a pass from Denis Omedi before firing a fierce 89th-minute strike past the DR Congo goalkeeper.
The international friendly was played on October 5, 2026, at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Bogere’s goal capped an impressive double-header against DR Congo. Just three days earlier, the young forward opened the scoring in Uganda’s 2-0 victory over the same side at the same venue.
