I'm just hangin' in here, kama ulikuwa akilini mwangu... just a while ago, I thought and wished I could be wishing somebody a nice weekend!...
oh well chica two more days to go!.....

Plans? jst a couple, I'm thinking of driving for a couple of hrs to another mkoa kufata party...nilivo mdaku!
hahahaha uwiii!...umenifanya nikumbuke them days i used to drive 13 hours just kufuata party mkoa mwingine duuh!....Ila now naaaaaah!...hata kwa dawa hujanipandisha gari aisee i woudl rather stay home and watch lifetime movies.....huku nakula pop corn maana hata bar/pub siwezi kwenda maana i dont drink alcohol......
all in all chica have fun to the fullest!.....me i will be waiting for 411.....

Sema wewe, tukiuliza wengine tunaambiwa tuna 'wivu, ndimi ndefu' mara ooh 'don't hate the player hate the game' lakini kwa kifupi tumeshuhudia watu wengi walio na 'exposure' ya kuishi na kufanya kazi nje wakimezwa na system pindi wanaporudi Tanzania baadhi yao ni mmoja wa mchangiaji mkubwa kwenye hii thread.
So we have 50+ pages discussing about this guy--that on it own (regardless of contents) shows this January Makamba guy is qualified at least intellectually. Is he polarizing? yes, to some extents and the talk to nepotism will somehow derail his quest for the big office (if he has ambitions for it). I think he is smart, and most importantly he is a policy wonk (you cant say that to many of our politicians--they dont know the issues). He has a brilliant political background and himself will emerge to be a savvy politician.
Hate him or criticize him but the fact is--at his age now and what he already learn being in Ikulu, meeting world leaders, being in cabinet meetings, and helping implementing Kikwete's agenda. In 10 years he will be the most ready and most qualified and probably the only candidate to have genuine candid feelings on what the President job is about. I'm all for that!
define hoja ya maana!....nimeshakuuliza swali wew eulivyoandika kwa nini wanawake wana shave...hiyo uliona ni hoja ya maana?...au kwa sababu nimemtaja January makamba ndiyo unaona hoja hai-make sense?...kama mtu ana qualification zake give him/her pro...roho za kwa nini tuache..hatutafika huko.
sio kama JM ni smart peke yake of course kuna watu smart wengi tuu...besides kila mtu is smart on his/her own way...as far as JM yeye ameweza kuonekana mapema.....
Kumuongelea JM siyo kama ni kitu amabcho kitatokea overnite right now yeye anapata experience yake taratibu....kunako majaliwa 2015 kama alivyosema kishoka or so anaweza kusimama naye kwenye kidedea cha kugombea kiti cha uraisi tanzania could be that or PM......
Siyo kila mtu anayeingia ikulu lazima umjue yeye ni nani...lets say Obama right kuna mtu yeyote alimjua obama ni nani?....Marekani wenyewe walikuwa hawamjui hadi jina lake wengine walikuwa wana pronouce wrong lakini wenyewe baadaye wakamkubali...
Hakuna mtu aliyemsikia JM akiongea so huwezi kum-judge mtu kutokana na kile unachoona kwenye picha....i think this will be the right time watu kuanza kumfuatiliya na kuona maendeleo yake...
besides hizo speech za JK mnazoongea kuwa JM ndiyo kaandika na kwamba anamandiia speech mbovu...kwani pale ikulu ni JM peke yake anaandika kuna waandishi kibao waandika ila sema tuu kwa sababu JM ndiyo anajulikana anaandika basi lawama zote zinamuanguia yeye.....kabla hamjabisha kitu i think its better ukae chini kwanza na kumjua mtu......
Waswahili husema ukubwa wa pua si wingi wa makamasi, na kama ujuavyo , wahenga huwa hawakosei. Eti unadai kwa sababu thread imefika page hadi 50+ eti kuonesha Makamba is qualified intellectually (!!!???). Mazee i am sorry i don't see correleration hapa. Kuna thread za akina Liyumba n.k. zimefikia hadi pages 100+ hiyo nayo sijui unaizungumziaje? Does this prove to you that Liyumba is double smart than Makamba..lol.. Hata hivyo bado sioni ni kwa vipi urefu wa thread unahusianaje na intellectualism ya mtu?/? We need to be clear on this first..
Secondly, Ok lets assume (and of course, agree with you that) he is smart, but how many people are smarter than him? What is so special with his 'smartness'? How do we measure 'smartness'?
From the information we have so far, Makamba is a rookie from school to Presidential aide, so how come unasema ana pilitical background?ipi? au ile ya college mazee? au unazungumzia ya wazee wake?
I don't think lots of people here hate him like some apologists will want to escape through 'that route' when the arguments become heavy for them. Tunachofanya ni kuuliza maswali ya msingi nini cha ziada alichonacho Makamba na ku-scrutinize hizi 'sifa' zinazoletwa hapa na ma-apologists wetu kuona kama zina uzito wowote. Again ..kuwa pembeni ya JK, kushiriki vikao, kuonana na viongozi wengine wa kimataifa etc sidhani kama ni criteria za ku-qualify u-presidaa. He is the part of the failing government and thats is not a critera by any means.
Chief--u have made your point. Sawa! although I should point out that in doing so, u have decided to cherry-picking my post and taking it out of contents (understandably so). Look, I "miswrote" linking 50+ pages and intellectuality but the point is there is a buzz around him which in modern politics is crucial for any ambitious aspirations especially for 2015.
Cutting long storoo short, the argument of who is smarter sijui maninini! Yo-I would like my president to be smart. Regardless if there is equivalent other smart people. And "kuwa pembeni ya JK, kushiriki vikao, kuonana na viongozi wengine wa kimataifa etc" are one of the experience that I expect my President to actually have.
