Kwa hiyo si kila mara mwanafunzi akipewa adhabu anaona ana jambo analohitaji kujirekebisha (kwa sababu kunakuwa na forces zitazokinzana na hii inatokana na personality development process aliyopitia).

Adhabu inakuwa meaningfull if there is consensus between the two parties.
