Je wewe ni programmer wa aina gani ?

Je wewe ni programmer wa aina gani ?

I would say ALGORITHM AND DATA-STRUCTURE. This is the foundation of any programming and it have been overlooked dearly especially for Tanzanian developers and Africa at large. You will never be a good developer/programmer if you don't master this.

In fact he difference between children-coders, offshore code farms, and professional computer scientists is their understanding of algorithms and data structures.

You nailed it.

We need a lot of tech events. Tusitegemee watu wajue tu, watajuaje bila kujulishwa.

Mostly but not completely true. We have been developing our own stuff. Second year of development of our IDE thats C++. We have forum written in Yii2 and we are training others to do the same. Its a matter of time before Tanzania changes … we plan to be part of game changers

Great stuff, I hope someday we will get to see high quality ground breaking software products from Tanzania...I was really impressed with your ADSUM initiative, i think it will motivate more people to get into software development make their own startups

I agree with you guys...we have alot to do until we become experts in this field of programming..late exposure to computer knowledge like my mate said is one of the biggest setback to achieving programming excellence...

Iddi Amin. Purely. I am a programmer, I have no life.

This is 100% true...developers in other countries e.g. Kenya are breaking new grounds, our developers are still stuck on Blogs, directory listings and all other ---- from reusing some free or nulled scripts.
Hahaha

Programmers and developers mshirikiane, hauwezi ukawa mbabe wa kila kitu, tengenezeni vitu vya kitofauti, sio kila siku mnaishia tu kwenye Blogs, classifieds na forums.
