An explosion has occurred in the Russian city of Belgorod, damaging the facade of a high-rise building and cars.

Meduza stated that Belgorod Telegram channels citing eyewitnesses reported that the sound of an explosion was heard on Yesenina Street. The photos show the damaged facade of a high-rise building. The same sources also reported on a damaged car.
"An eyewitness reports that he saw an aircraft-type drone flying overhead near Ulitka [microdistrict], less than a metre in size. After that, an explosion was heard," Bletgorod, a local Belgorod Telegram channel, quoted the eyewitness as saying.
On Sunday, the Russian Ministry of Defence reported three times about downed drones in Belgorod Oblast. However, the authorities have not yet commented on the situation with the explosion in Belgorod.
Baza, a Russian independent Telegram channel, also reported on the explosion in Belgorod.
