The Hubble Telescope can see an individual Blue Supergiant star (Icarus) which is an incredible 9 billion light years away.
The reason Hubble can see this extremely distant star is because of the phenomenon known as gravitational lensing.
Just think! for every hour of that 9 billion years the light from that distant star has travelled 1,080 million km towards us. Wow! 😮
