Tatizo kubwa lipo katika kuongeza -s, -es na -ies. Kwamba mwanafunzi ataongozwa na nini ili kujua kwamba sasa aweke ipi kati ya hizo? mfano Play mwanafunzi anaweza kuweka Playes, au playies wakati au ni kwanini atoe Y kwenye neno CRY ili apate CRIES. Kwa ujumla ni kazi sana. Ni lazima kuwe na maelezo ya kuonesha kuwa ni Verbs za sifa gani ambazo mwanafunzi ataongeza S tu na zenye sifa zipi ataongeza ES hali kadhalika zipi za kuweka IES. Bila kufafanua makundi hayo matatu ya VERBS (vitenzi) itakuwa kazi sana. Ni shida! Vilele kuna baadhi maneno ambayo lazima u-drop herufi ya mwisho ili kuongeza ies hasa yale yanayoishia na Y mfano FLY na CRY. Mfano mwanafunzi anaweza kutaka kujua kwanini kwenye CRY au FLY unatakiwa u-drop Y na kuongeza IES lakini kwenye PLAY hau-drop Y baadala yake unaongeza tu S. Nafikiri pia kuna haja ya kushughulika na VERB CATEGORIES
Tense hii ni rahisi zaidi kwa mwanafunzi kuelewa na mwalimu kufundisha hasa inapotumika nafsi ya kwanza Umoja "I" na zile za uwingi yaani YOU(hii ni both 2nd person singular and plural), we, they au unapotaja majina ya watu wawili kwa pamoja
