ABOUT SASHITA:visit http://www.sashita.org.uk/about_us.htm
SASHITA If 28,000 people to pay £1 each, Samuye could have clean water
What can you buy with £1
When it comes to charity, SASHITA want to try and prove that a little can go a very long way. In fact £1 at a time.
At SASHITA we love a challenge but need help to do it.
If we can get 28,000 people to sign up and pledge just £1 we could raise enough money to complete a well and electricity installation in the village of Samuye a very poor rural village in Tanzania. SASHITA have already drilled the well but it now needs electricity, a strong pump and a large tank to be able to provide for the very first time clean, fresh water to the villagers.
We decided to each ask all our friends, family and supporters to give £1 to SASHITA. It doesnt seem like a lot but if for example there are 10 of us and we could raise £10, if there are 20 of us £20 and so it goes on. If we can persuade 28,000 people to donate £1 we could raise enough to install electricity and a water tank in the village.
Its so easy you dont have to sell raffle tickets or organise events, you just give your £1 and thats it.
You can donate through our Justgiving site http://www.justgiving.co.uk/Lesley-Lynch28000 or straight into (SHASHITA's account, please let us know)
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Kind Regards
