Historia ya hili linaloitwa Kabila la wagogo halipo na kwamba lilibuniwa tu na Wakoloni" Habari kamaili ipo hapo chini, kwa hiyo kwa kifupi hakuna kitu kama Kabila la Wagogo kama ilivyo hakuna kabila la Wasukuma Wachaga au Wanyamwezi yote haya yalibuniwa tu na Wageni!

Richard Francis Burton claimed a very small population for it, saying only that a person could walk for two weeks and find only scattered Tembes. They had a long tradition of hunting and gathering, allowing the Wanyamwezi to carry the ivory to the coast, but had become agriculturalists with cattle by 1890.
