Hosted His Excellency Paul Kagame and his delegation on a short official visit at State House Entebbe. I thank him for honouring my invitation. Uganda is home to Rwandans, literally and metaphorically.

I congratulate Kagame for assuming the chairmanship of the African Union and also for successfully hosting the recent summit that saw countries endorse the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Our fruitful discussion focused on a number of areas; the railway, supply of electricity, airline operations and also security between our two countries and the region.

We agreed on all these points and on how to proceed. I thank you and wish success to the people of Rwanda and the RPF party.

MY TAKE
Pretty sure H.E. Kagame went to give him reasons to join the electrical SGR at Isaka and not Malaba.

Hahaha kuna watu watavaa chupi kichwani siku sii nyingi

Liar! The reason for that meeting in Kampala was to resolve this.....
Kagame, Museveni to meet in Kampala amidst tensions

And regarding the sgr (if indeed that came up), did they agree that it should connect via Tanzania or Kenya? Give us the details, Geza Ulole.
I took that from Museveni's Facebook page the mouth of the horse himself! Whether I am a liar or not i shouldn't be blamed for quoting a reliable official page in other words, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's page on FB says so! And I can't speculate on their decision but what I know Kagame has made up his mind on the route Rwanda chose aside agreements with Tanzania have been already signed including construction timeframe for Kigali-Isaka SGR been set.

This signifies how M7 was deeply influenced by the joint venture of Tanzania and Rwanda SGR project that he shuffled some agendas and made SGR project from Tanzania the first and foremost discussion of their meeting.

I didn't astonished so much about this, M7 to connect his SGR to Tanzania line is inevitable to any sound minded the forecast was very clear.
