KCB Rwanda aims to open a total of seven branches in the country before the end of the year, the managing director said on Tuesday.
Of these, said Mr Maurice Toroitich, three are already in operation. He said they now have outlets in Huye, Rubavu and Rusizi.
We expect to open a total of seven branches in this market before the end of this year in order to reach out to a larger cross-section of the target population with a commensurate number of ATMs, said Mr Toroitich.
He said KCBs entry into the market late last year had been received well and needed to grow its presence to meet market expectations.
In line with our regional growth and expansion strategy, we are spreading our network across the width and breadth of this country in order to take our products and services closer to the marketplace, said Mr Toroitich.
Of the branches opened one is situated in Huye District to the south of Rwanda while the other two Rubavu and Rusizi are located in western Rwanda.
A second branch is under construction in Kigali to cater for the citys population.
