kuwa Kenya itapata ndege hizo ambazo hazitakuwa

yanayofaa kulengwa na ndege au majeshi ya ardhini. Gazeti hilo limesema ndege zisizokuwa na rubani ni
sehemu ya msaada wa Marekani, pamoja na malori,

Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete has supported Kenya's decision to invoke Article 51 of the United Nations Charter to defend its
economic and security interests against Al Shaabab insurgents.

The Tanzanian leader, who is in Perth, Australia, for the Commonwealth Heads of Government summit, was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on President Kibaki at his hotel. The meeting followed an earlier briefing by President Kibaki to an executive session of the Commonwealth Heads of State and Government on Kenya's military operation against Al Shabaab.
During the session, President Kibaki maintained that Kenya was not at war with Somalia, but is carrying out military action against
the Islamic militia, which is a non- state actor. The Tanzanian leader, at the same time, joined other world leaders in calling for tougher action against piracy in the Indian Ocean, which increases the costs of international trade.
Earlier, at a forum on Indian Ocean Piracy held on the sidelines of the summit, participants observed that piracy is rife off the coast of Somalia, and is spreading to other regions around Africa.

stop the blame game. Proxy war ya nani? Al-shabaab are not killing those we are fighting for but Kenyans UUwhi! Mind you kenya has always stood on the sidelines. I do not understand why people busy themselves picketing when kenya stages an incursion fighting a rag-tag milita, But when Uganda/AMISOM decides to do it people ignore. PS give us credit for once we have managed to relatively and effectively contain this loathsome "sawdust ceaser" that others has been fumbling with including the US.

once again some Tanzanian psycophants think they know what is best for Kenya military. All KDF procurement are advised on current and possible future threats and so far all new toys satisfy this logic. Back to the drone noise, besides the lightweight American Raven drone, Kenya has been shopping for the Israeli made Heron Drone (more capable UAS vehicle). when you talk of capabilities..it all narrows down to resources and military tactics or doctrines exploited by respective forces. When Kenya gets gunships....some low lifes screams their ass out, when we get drones...the same, when Kenya opts to up her airforce the same nonsense. Inferiority complex is a disorder, get checked up guys. And in any case, the hand thrown raven drone is mostly used in real time combat as an extra set of eyes and not deep search recon purposes a reserve of heron drones and the likes of predator drones. anyway this is what the raven drone is used for:
1) to identify enemy movement while in combat operation
2) prevent likelyhood of friendly fire through cordinate assault from different fronts esp in close contact ambushes eg surronding a small metropolis. (be advised to create the somali picture to understand better).
4) they are also cheap to service and operate
This maneno ati they are used to track Kony is gibberish nonsense....much capable drones with higher lift such as heron/predator drones were devised for such purposes, [RECON & MAPPING].
Lastly, stay out of KDF inventories and concentrate in modifying JWTZ doctrines to a sensible and a more modern outfit. Swam/mass deployments are so into the 80's plus your forces aint as many anyway.
