Ethiopia can obliterate any country in EA with ease though. But in 1960s Kenya and Ethiopia signed a treaty. Treaty stated that if Somalia attacks any of the two the other country will help defend the other if they request for help.Somalia had a lot of backing from the USSR na walikuwa wanataka kuchukuwa Somali inhabited areas of Ethiopia(Ogaden) and Kenya (NFD) zikuwe part of a large Somalia country. In 2000s it was re-signed again sasa si against Somalia but against any country. JTWZ only fought in conventional warfares ( warfare against an opponent of comparable might using similar weapons on a known battle field ) for the case with Uganda you had an upper hand coz of superior weapon systems which gave you advantage over your opponent but things over the years have changed different countries have acquired different weapons which are more superior thus more firepower.
If a coventional warfare was to happen on a neutral ground btwn kenya and tanzania . kenya would have an advantage over tanzania because of superior firepower .Its high time you all understood this and stop relying on past success thinking that things are still the same as their were in the 1970s .you should equip your army.and stop lying to yourself that you had won so you will win again only fools do that.
KDF on other the hand is conducting a very different kind of war which is known as asymmetrical warfare which has its unique set of challenges.

Tanzania to take delivery of Super Puma helicopters

The Tanzania Air Force (TAF) is acquiring Airbus H225 Super Puma helicopters, it was confirmed on 7 September, when one was photographed with TAF markings at Porto Santo Airport in Portugal.

The French newspaper La Tribune reported in January that Tanzania had ordered two H225 and two H215 Super Pumas in 2017.

French government defence export documentation shows that Tanzania placed a EUR190 million (USD220 million) in 2017.

The Italian defence news website Analisi Difesa reported in August that Tanzania had ordered 12 helicopters, including an unspecified number of Fennec light helicopters.

The TAF currently has a very small rotary-wing aircraft fleet that includes two Airbus H155 Dauphin helicopters, at least one of which is a VIP transport
