Kenya Airways says not selling its Precision stake

lol u guys are pathetic.

you have been whoring your airline to the chinese, europeans, south africans and yet you talk of national intrest???? you guyz are sh!t.

the need to have a capable, well connected, profit making airline is the priority!!! all ur nationalistic teenage emotions count for sh!t in this world!!!

money will and always has been the bottom line. get that through your thick heads!!!!

a$$hole,

talking about whoring, u want us 2 talk about that ?? really??how about u tell us the interesting whoring story of ur beloved KA by royal dutch airlines, r they fvcking ur a$$es GOOD?? do they use Ky?

little u know about economix, hakuna nchi iliyoendelea duniani ambayo haifanyi control ya masoko yake.this is a no-brainer.i don't need 2 waste my time educating a brainless fool like u.

and what Titus Naikuni did is simply a disrespect to a partner who owns 51% of a subsidiary! how could there be a break up of communication between KQ and PW? does Naikuni know what is to own a 51% of a company?

maelezo haya chini hapa

economy??? you know something about economics? shove that up your a$$ or go lie to other people you peice of sh!t. efficiency and quality is the name of the game. customers dont care about who owns what, customers care about quality and costs. the rest is just your nationalism politics.

even if tanzanians get to fully own the airline, you guys have proved to be inherently pathetic at managing an airline. everytime you try to do so you just run it into bankruptcy.

you dumbass u r no different from us! even KQ only went to profit after KLM came in! so shut the F up!

you dumbass u r no different from us! even KA only went to profit after KLM came in! so shut the F up!

i do not care who owns KA. as long as nairobi is effeciently connected to the world i could care less about who owns KA. i got no nationalistic wishes and emotions like you guys.

id rather have klm be the majority shareholder thant he govt, id rather have orange be the majority shareholder than the govt, id rather have vodafone be the majority shareholder in safaricom than the govt, because all these are now thriving and delivering quality services to kenyans comapred to the ineffective loss making companies they were when they were fully kenyan owned.

if privatising the mombasa port means that it will be more safer efficient and less corrupt then SO BE IT!!!! why keep it kenyan owned of it is still so damn inefficient???

you people NEED to understand that nationalism in business in this century matters for sh!t.

customers will always put quality and efficiency over nationalism

Listen u fag.
like i said, i wouldn't explain the tricks hidden in the books, called KNOWLEDGE. that will be hidden from fools like u till u die.
even if tanzanians get to fully own the airline, you guys have proved to be inherently pathetic at managing an airline. everytime you try to do so you just run it into bankruptcy.
yeah, just like kenyans did until they were married to the dutch with big dix.

Listen u fag.
like i said, i wouldn't explain the tricks hidden in the books, called KNOWLEDGE. that will be hidden from fools like u till u die.

see this is why i tell you that you are one huge c*nt, the world doesnt exist in the realm of books, it exist in the realm of REALITY!!!

customers care about efficiency and quality not who owns what!!!

if national owned is so important, why are you whoring your airline to the chinese? now you are so desperate you are even trying to wh#re ur airline to zimbabwe!!! how desperate of a b*tch you gotta be to wanna sell your so called airline to zimabwe???

u douche bag can't cease to amaze me..
ur sayin nationaliosm isn't an issue so y do u showup ur dickless a$$ in the forums everytime nyang'auland is mentioned?? isn't that a nationalism/ patriotic?, or rather unguided one??

sasa u want all of us to be IGNORANT like u?? reality is one thing and knowledge is another one, but the two do meet somewhere. even ur posts full of shyt is application of knowledge.

btw, unasema we r whoring atcl to chinese, y r u complaining like bitch?? actually do u mean only nyanga'aus are supposed to be SOLE W.H.O.R.E.S lol?? actually what we read in the press is that artcl is partnering with zimbabwe airlines. i c nothing wrong with that bcoz thats how MEN do buziness.

We now question ur understanding! if individuals like u in Kenya claim to be educated then we have a problem in the EAC! in airline industry there are things like code sharing, alliance and acquisition neither Sonangol nor Zimbabwe Airline will acquire Air Tanzania! Sonangol will invest and become a minority partner with 49% if the deal materialize or go through! whereas Air Zimbabwe is just an alliance thing just like KQ in Sky Team (as recently became full member) that's all! go back back to school and come here with arguments with brains

oh so now you and geza ulole want to talk about code sharing??? you cant be saying that we whored KA to KLM and yet when it comes to tanzania airlines you wanna call it code sharing and partnerships. what you guys dish out is exactly what ill serve you with. believe dat muthaf#ckers!!!

lol..pasuka basi.
bich boi wa kisauni

ila Shirima has an upper hand! thats the fact!

Massaiboi, the misunderstanding emanates from Mr. Shirima's press report release last week regarding the planned IPO. His statement is contrary to what Mr. Naikun of KA is potraying. I'm not questioning the shares dilution process as such but why should there be two contradictory statements from the two people who happen to be members of PA Board?

JAMANI NAOMBENI NIWE WA MWISHO SASA KUCHANGIA NA TUFUNGE MJADALA MAANA NAONA TUNAELEKEA KUSIKO, MATUSI N.K N.K.
HAIJALISHI NAIKON NA SHIRIMA WAMESEMA NINI TUNACHOTAKIWA KUFANYA NI KUANGALIA LOGIC. KWA WALE WANAOSOMA MAGAZETI YA BIASHARA WANAJUA KABISA HATA MAKAMPUNI MAKUBWA KAMA 'SKY NA VIRGIN ZA UK WAMILIKI WAO YAANI MURDOCH NA BRANSON HAMNA MWENYE 51%.
SASA WATANZANIA TUNAONG'ANG'ANIA SHIRIMA AWE NA 51% NI SAWA NA UWENDAWAZIMU. HIYO NI SAWA NA KUTAKA KUKUMBATIA UZEMBE. SHIRIMA UMILIKI WAKE WA KAMPUNI ULIKOMA SIKU ILE ALIPOUZA SHARE, NA SASA HAIWEZEKANI KWA MAZINGIRA YOYOTE KUWA NA KAMPUNI ILIYOKUWA "LISTED" YENYE MMILIKI MMOJA MWENYE 51%. KINACHOWEZEKANA NI KUWA NA MAJORITY HOLDING HATA KAMA NI 20%

HII NI ILI ANAPOTAKA KUFANYA AU KUPITISHA CHOCHOTE LAZIMA AKUBALIANE NA WAMILIKI WENZIE JAPO SIO WOTE LAKINI LAZIMA APATE KITU KINAITWA SIMPLE MAJORITY.
HIVYO MNAOTUKANA WAKENYA SIONI SABABU, TUTUMIE HOJA NA SIO UBABE KWANI WAO WAMEDEAL NA MAMBO YA IPOs NA WAPO MBELE YETU SANA, LAZIMA TUKUBALI.

MWISHO NARUDIA TENA ANAYEUZA SHARES SIO SHIRIMA ILA NI PRECISION AIR = SHIRIMA + KENYA AIRWAYS. SASA MNAOTAKA KQ WAUZE SHARES ZAO MBONA HAMSEMI NA SHIRIMA AUZE ZA KWAKE????
NA UKIANGALIA BADO SHIRIMA NI MAIN SHAREHOLDER HATA BAADA YA IPOs.

AHSANTENI SAAAANAAAA.

Nenda zako wewe sheria za ku-enlist at DSE na many stock exchanges hhazikatazi mtu kuwa anamiliki 51% na nasisitiza unapokuwa na wamiliki wengi it is more harder kiundeshaji haswa kimaamuzi!

Its obvious KA is the parent co. though has a minor stake in PW!

Yes though KA has 49%, is controlling PA by providing management and technical expertise. KA by not selling its stake give more confidence to the prospective investor on the profitability of the company otherwise if KA which is a major foreign shareholder could decide to sell their shares this coould bring negative impact to the whole exercise

Tanzanian can still own 51% of the issued share capital just by restricting all shares to be sold through IPO to Tanzanian only. CRDB did that and it was successful. You dont need to have one person owning 51% to justify that the company is owned by Tanzania. The problem which might happen if they dont restrict who qualify to buy those shares, KA can also participate in buying and become majority shareholder
