It was announced by the Chief of staff in the office of the president Mr. Nzioka Waita, that another expressway from Mau-summit to Malaba at the Kenya-Uganda border will come up soon after the Rironi-Mau summit expressway(190 km) is completed.

I also have sources privy to the project that confirmed already the Chinese, French and Americans are all looking to deliver the project on a public private partnership of Design-Build-Own-Operate-Transfer.

This part of the Nairobi-Mau summit-Malaba expressway will include another elevated highway cutting across eldoret town. Making the town the third urban centre in east africa to get an elevated highway after Nairobi and Nakuru.

Confidence by the international companies in Kenyan road infrastructure is strengthened by a long history of PPP ventures in the energy sector where Kenya is a continental leader.

Uuuuiiiii!!! Any idea of the timeline?
None yet but it is expected to start a year after completion of the Nairobi-Mau summit expressway.

I love this new trend in building roads. GOK delivering infrastructure without any loans.

Hahaha sasa kama sgr imekomea vichakani unataka serikali ifanye nini? Ninyi mnapeleka barabara Uganda sisi tunawapelekea bullet train 😅😅😅

Naomba hiyo barabara ijengwe haraka ili consignment movers wa Uganda waikimbie Mombasa kabisa sababu ya tolls. 🤣

What Kenya is doing right now will take other East African Countries decades to replicate. Nobody ever imagined that Kenya would build a road of 6 lanes stretching up to 190km.

Ukiunganisha from Athi River to mau summit ni 251km of dual carriageway.
