Kenya Coronavirus Update

Ukiandika kizungu koko basi ndio unajiona uko mbinguni, ha ha ha.
Actually english is the language of command of education in Kenya, not to say Kiswahili is bad, but I am better off putting my point across in english. Too bad, if you do not comprehend it, that is beyond my control. I really hope your education and economic system catches up with the rest of east africa especially Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. It will be easier to get things done that way.

You are asking too much from their brains! They have the IQ of a sewer rat, thinking, logic, reasoning is not their strength. What they are strong at is bind nationalism and stupid dare I say, almost pathological obsession with anything from Kenya especially Kibera.
To understand rates one must have some calculus skills which I doubt is taught in their schools.
I saw him reason that since the world is not talking rates, we should not discuss rates but numbers only. Not knowing numbers and rates are one and the same thing, only that one is used to show the real figures while the other one is used to show progression and predict future occurences. But like you said, im asking too much from their brains.

It seems you are willfully being ignorant. Let me summarize it for you.
a) Until yesterday kenya was doing 600 tests a day using about 4 manual PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) kits.
b) From this week Kenya will start using the repurposed Cobas 6800/8800 machines to do automatic PCR tests.
c) each Cobas 6800/8800 machine has a capability to handle about 5000 samples.
e) Kenya has 7 in government facilities and 2 in private laboratories
f) Quick mathematics if we use only government machines it will be 7X5000=? (35000), good if you got this answer clap for yourself.

Idiot, who said im comfortable with people dying? You have been trying to prove how Kenyans are dying in numbers and wanting more to die because you are the [emoji48] himself, then I explained to you Mathematically. Let me teach you because you are so dumb to understand. Percentage means rate. Even if Kenya has higher number of Corona deaths, Tz people are dying at at a higher rate. This means for every 100 people who are infected in Kenya, 3 die while in Tz 9 die. Is it hard to understand that? Go back to class you Moron.

Parting shot: I wish all those infected both in Kenya and Tz and globally quick recovery so that we can get things back to normal.
Hahahaha, don't you know that can't use percentage if the number is below 100?. Statistically % is making sense if figure is above 100. If a country has one person infected with virus, and that person dies, will you say it is 100% death rate?.

Your knowledge as usual, very very low, can't argue with big brains, go back to Kibera wait for free food distribution.

Actually south africa was capable of conducting 6000 tests in a day, what changed is their recent acquisition of mobile test units which has increased their capacity 6 fold to about 36000 (6x6000). What they have a shortage of is human resource to handle this number of samples, that is why they are training other medical personnel. Also south africa has been doing tests for other countries including Tanzania.
Kenya now has a similar capacity in technology, and the GOK is now hiring unemployed clinical officers and nurses to undergo training at kemri on how to collect samples and more unemployed lab technicians to prepare samples for the machines.
I hope this makes sense?

How can you be able to comprehend "Biostatistics" while you have nor idea what it is?

There is nor a sane brain who can talk about rate if you don't like to know the " disease mortality rate".

No one on the global who is looking on those " rates", the World is under serious threats of "deaths and morbidity", what matters are the number of people who die, and number of people infected.

By the way, in the World of statistics, if number is too small ( below 100), we never use 100%. It is applicable for Kenya and Rwanda with infections above 100, but not for Uganda and Tanzania with infections below 100. I hope you have leant something today, hahahaha, hahahaha

Could you please go to your former school and demand for your school fees..If that is what you were taught, then you wasted your years in school.

Case example....Tanzania has 50 fools, out of these fools, 25 are mad. Express the mad people as a pecentage of fools. So your logic is, since the number of fools in Tanzania are below 100, you can not express the mad people in percentage..... Ujinga wako umekidhiri!

Finally, you had to bring Kibera up because you have been cornered.

Dude this is just plain class 4 mathematics (Multiplication) and speaking of biostatistics, I am sure you have no idea what that means. You have the IQ of a mole and the senile brain of a tortoise. I know statistics and the number in Africa is low because african countries like Tanzania do not want to invest in mass testing.

The logic behind mass testing is suppression — efforts to scale back the infectivity of a pandemic. Those within the subject of monitoring ailments name this infectivity R0, or the R-naught.
Testing and isolating people who find themselves optimistic from those that are wholesome, is focused to scale back the R-naught to lower than one. Research which have been carried out in Wuhan and different locations present that, when unchecked, the R0 of Covid-19 is between 2 and three, that means that each contaminated individual infects two to a few others.
An R0 of lower than 1 signifies that every contaminated individual leads to lower than one new an infection. When this occurs, the outbreak will slowly grind to a halt.

I know you do not understand the above but I just needed to put it here to show how little you know. Truly little knowledge is dangerous, if you can not understand a simple concept like "Rate", prey do tell how you you intend to fathom advanced calculus in informatics (the mother subject to bioinformatics which includes biostatistics as a unit).

Go and read the part where I mentioned human resource and training, then come back and talk like a man.

That is primary school concept of just teaching people, that is only for purpose of teaching, is like a primary teacher uses example of the stars in the sky, and divide number of stars to his pupils, that doesn't mean those students will have those stars physically.

If you have had stepped in "Biostatistics" classes, you wouldn't argue with me on this, am sure there are people in here who know Biostatistics, they all agree with me.

Let me ask you again, if a country had one infected person, and that person dies, will you say that death rate is 100%, does it make sense to you?. Go back to Kibera or Madhare.

I used the simplest and most understandable Logic because the complex ones are reserved for intellectuals...I used Fools and Mad people because you can associate with them.
When I see Kibera at the end, I know you have nothing else to argue!
