Tanzania has doubled Kenya in terms of Paved roads..Kenya has 44,100km while Tanzania has 85,000km.. What real went wrong after independence???

The road network in Tanzania currently comprises 86,472 km of roads, of which 12,786 km are trunk roads, 21,105 km are regional roads and the remaining 52,581 km are district, urban and feeder roads.

1,800km of roads paved in 2014 as State moves to open up rural areas

The newly paved roads are equivalent to what Kenya has developed in the four years to 2013.

The growth comes as the country is looking to enter a period of more intense road development under the annuity programme that will see 10,000km paved in the next five years.

The growth in the length of paved roads corresponds to a huge jump in the resources allocated to the sector.

Nearly 1,800 kilometres of roads were paved last year as the government moved to open up rural areas.

The newly paved roads are equivalent to what Kenya has developed in the four years to 2013, underlining the quest by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government to increase motor ways over the next five years.

This pushed the total paved roads network to 13,000km last year, up from 11,230 in 2013 and 10,900km in 2010, according to the Economic Survey, 2015 released Wednesday.

Hakuna ..Hizo niza 2015.Kwa sasa ujenzi unaoendelea TZ wa barabara watalia sana..😂😂😂😂Magufuli hapoi...Ujenzi wa Tram Dodoma nasikia umeiva..Muda sio mrefu tender inatangazwa...😂😂😂😂
 
Hawa tumewazidi kila kitu kizuri nayo wakatuzidi kwa yote mabaya kama vile njaa, omba omba, umasikini kama ule wa Haiti(LDC) , madeni na kusamehewa deni, uchumi mbovu, jeshi mbovu(read kukatakatwa na mapanga ilhali wamejiami na state of the art weapons), magonjwa, elimu duni, akili hafifu, na bila kusahau uvivu wa kipekee tena wanaongoza duniani.

I've read somewhere that untill the end of 2018 paved roads in Tz should be 12,000+ kms ,the aim is to make sure that all trunk roads are paved!!

Hizo unaongelea za agency gani?? Toa source tukujibu kwa facts.. Sisi hapa hatuongelei Trunk roads pekee but total roads...
 

Nimekupa ramani ya barabara zote za Tanzania, hiyo ramani hapo haionyeshi tu barabara zilizo chini ya TANROAD.
Unayo matatizo makubwa kielimu, yaani unataka kumaanisha mumewashinda hata Nigeria kwa paved road, unajua maana ya paved road kweli au unahangaika.
Hehehe eti yaani mumeshinda hadi Morocco, nchi ambayo huwapa nyie misaada.....
Mumeshinda hata Denmark.... Yaani kama kuna Watanzania waliobahatika kwenda shule na wanasoma huu uzi lazima wanahisi aibu ya mwaka.

Huo mkeka ulikua ni wa budget ya barabara kwa mwaka huu walikua wametenga 1.5trillions tshs kuwalipa wakandarasi pamoja na muendelezo wa barabara zinginezo, sina tena document ile nilifuta
