Kenya: Matatu Culture (Uniquely Kenyan)

Mwanzisha thread inaonekana exposure kwake ni zero. Au ushamba.
I guess it is true what they say, "Humans hate what they can not conquer, fear what they do not understand", but Tanzanians you take it to new deranged level.

What I like about Matatu culture is that it is has created employment for thousands of people. The owner of lithium art (A BA.Fine Arts graduate) actually employs about 50 people(including a design team) and he owns a huge garage and workshop. do not forget Moha grafix who has also given employment to young men and women.

Ni wengi, hata kina dada pia hawajaachwa nyuma kwenye sanaa hiyo. Kuna mmoja hivi kwa jina Sarafina Mumbi, nilimuona kwenye article flani ya Reuters.

A true kenyan spirit, that is why Tanzanians can not avoid desiring our beautiful, hardworking women. Our women work very hard more than other east african women.

Duniani Kote Mass transit ndiyo ilivyo,
Sijui kama mko washamba na hamna exposure kiasi hiki.
Sisi hatusimami bro, duniani kote wapi, nimekuwa Marekani na watu hawasimami..

Their buses are bed bug ridden, disease buckets and it seems their version of matatu is worse. I can't imagine the cocktail of odours in these pest hubs they call public transport

Compare those rickety things to these beautiful beasts.

Another thing i like about matatu culture is that apart from the artists, the bodies are kenyan made and electricians also get to wire up those pioneer and kenwood blusters and cctv. Mechanics get to work on improving braking and shock absorbers ie It comes out of GM as an Isuzu, gets to the road as an 80% kenyan customs beast.

Daladala uanze ichora hivyo abiria wakianza gombania linachakaa

kwa dsm ukitaka level seat itahitajika gari tatu kwa kila moja kumaliza abiria.

pamoja na kuondoa gari ndogo(vipanya 14 seaters)2007,kisha kuleta kubwa 56 seaters, bado watu wanagombea magari.

kuna wakati mnatakiwa mbadili namna ya kufikiri mtamuweza adui mnayepambana naye.mfano hapo kwenu mkitoa hivyo vimatatu vidogo muache hayo makubwa, mtakuwa mmefanya jambo.

Kenyans Hate Matatus. They are noisy & indiciplined.
If you want evidence, Go to 'Ambassador' stage & see people flocking for number 58 buruburu on the civilized Double M bus.
Same case with 105 westie-kikuyu route on the yellow buses..
Not to mention embasava 33 to mombasa road.
Matatus or 'nganya' are deeply unpopular on these routes except on route 23 rongai where we have young kids in multimedia university..And 19/60 kayole the home of thugs and riff raffs

[emoji38][emoji38][emoji38] ata mimi hizo vitu hazijawahi ni bamba. Mtu unashindwa kupokea simu za maana kisa nganya! Zii masee. A research should be done, kuna hasara kubwa inaletwa na hizo kelele. Sheria ipitishwe makarao waanze kuzikamata.

Now look at this! I think these short stays you spend in Nairobi while selling your oranges make you think you know Kenya. Double M is falling slowly but surely, the loud mobile discos are back, even our own president confirmed this and stopped police from harrasing pimped out Matatus.

Also if Kenyans hate matatus why would a hit song by the best african rapper praising Matatus be an instant hit.
