True story!..I gave 5000 dollars to my Nigerian friend to go to South Africa!
Initially I wondered why he chose such a place to settle over accessible destinations like New Zealand or Russia, where most Nigerians love.
Years down the lane to date, I found out I was right, he is struggling even with the basics, I even kept sending money to him ,just in case,so he doesn't starve there until I got tired!
He left during the xenophobic wave back to his home country, he wanted to go to Kenya but we all know the rules! and I knew his entry would be rejected in Kenya yet I was far away from the continent,couldn't help.
This explains why South Africa is still a poor country or has retrogressed into a poor country ever since the ANC Zooloos or CThulus took over , irregardless!

The visa rules relaxation or extension Kenya was requesting was for people who have businesses there and travel frequently or Kenya's professionals who multinationals based there adore, an mostly KENYAN PROFESSORS AND LECTURERS(Kenya has a lot of high quality human resources / brains) not forgetting students on international fellowships and RESEARCH PROGRAMS OR CORPORATION.
Most people like I have never even wished to travel there.
