Kenya ranks up there as a failed state....WOW!!!

1. Most stable
2. Stable
3. Borderline
4. In danger
5. Critical
all African countries fall in 5 & 6, thus are "in danger" and "Critical". of course apart from Botswana, RSA and a few others.
So i don't see a difference, in those parameters and score whatsoever. Those with proper strategies will prevail and the map will change, cause it's not deemed for eternity.

Nobody claimed Dar es Salaam to be Paris; we know our problems and we never pretend to be everything.

But some of you guys in Kenya pretend that you are everything; you don't want to swallow the fact that Kenya is sinking. Every day we hear the same song: Kenya is this, Kenya has that, even obscure things are terribly glorified. Come down to reality; Kenya is not everything. Your current tribal tension, which is referred to as "Demographic Pressures" is a time bomb that can explode anytime. Are you guys regulars at Mashada.com? You must have read something like this:

If you think it's Kenyans regard themselves as everything, you are wrong. We do not claim to have a good economy, it's already evident, we even need not claim that our city Nairobi is superb, it's the fact, cause we are not the ones who nicknamed it the "city under the sun". And we do not claim to be competent education-wise and also in business, it's what we do that portrays the aspects. We also don't deny there is Kibera and other slums, it's also seen. So, Kenya, TZ, UG or any African country is known for what it is, not what it claims to be. Got that?
And i guess you know that there is never a perfect country, but there are those which are in better conditions that others, a bitter fact that some people choose not to accept, like the case here. So if you can't be able to swallow the facts, too bad.

Bwana Kichuguu, tatizo ni kwamba after smelling danger kwao wameshaanza ku-sneak in toka siku nyingi lakini wanakuja na nationalism yao kwetu wakijua kwamba tunawababaikia au tunawahitaji. Tatizo ni kwamba majirani wote wameshaona kwetu ndio pa kukimbilia..sasa sijiui itakuwaje.? Nilikuwa Nairoberry juzi, it was my first time. Of course, kuna maghorofa marefu ya zamani and it's busy ila watu wengi wamechoka. Siyo Nairobi niliyokuwa nikiisikia toka nikiwa mdogo na tambo ninazozisikia kutoka kwao. Teh, teh, weye layman, hatuna slums Tanzania, what we have is unplanned settlements and there is a big difference btn the two. mimi ninayekwambia ni expert in all aspects relating to land/real property or estate, i.e. from legal, economical, planning, admin/magnt., investment, appraisal etc,etc.
And if you what classes in land matters I can offer you.
The more you yap, the more you expose your ignorance.

You cant knock Nairobi, najua utaongea kuhusu slums lakini unafaa ujiulize, nyinyi na diamond, uranium, gold, gas, tanzanite, now oil, mbona hamendelei, najua utasema you are catching up lakini mzee mnajienjoy, you'll never catch up. You will need our brains to formulate ways in which you can fully utilize your mineral potential, hata mkibishana aje, mnatuhitaji nasi twawanyonya, ask me I know.
 

ignorance? not that jargon. for your info, tz has the worst slums, but they are not highlighted as there is not much difference with the main towns, rather, the towns are not as developed, so there would be no need of showing the slums.
As for kenya, it's the opposite; very urban but some slums in the outskirts. That's why you never hear of slums in ug, tz, chad etc etc.
But you will always hear this:

Biggest slums
1. Soweto - South Africa
2. Niger delta - Nigeria
3. Kibera - Kenya
4. Dharavi - Indian slums
5. Harlem - New York, USA.
6. East London - UK

See, no need for highlighting underdeveloped countries, only well-off countries are highlighted to give them a challenge due to the big contrast.
p.s avoid words like layman, real profs don't call anyone that.
