Kenya says will investigate claims that some EAC members didn't vote for Amina

many of us are happy she lost, she is good bt the people who were pushing for her candidature had their own motives, other africans saw through this

Do you seriously think other African countries (outside EAC) give an F about our internal politics? Do you think they care about jubelee or cord?
Most of the time people from outside view us differently than we view ourselves from the inside.....what we think is a big issue to us in the inside is probably very small issue from those from outside. To them Amina represented Kenya whether the president was UK or if it had been Raila or anyone else.. Just like from a Kenyan perspective it wouldn't matter who was Nigerian president (for example) if they were fielding a candidate, as long as the two countries were friendly, we wouldn't have really bothered with their internal politics at that particular time.

uganda, burundi and tanzania agreeing to support amina's bid then backsliding at the ballot you think is healthy for the EAC community?? kenya will surely feel betrayed
