Sure while ur at it bashing kenyans my know all ATTITUDE tells me it's A T T I T U D E n not altitude

You are spot on. Attitude not altitude. Got the message all the same!

It's good to build these railways all over Africa though our intention for building these railways is wrong, In Europe and America, Railways were built to transport raw materials from farms and rural areas to factories and thereafter to transport finished products to ports for shipping, In Africa, we are building railways to transport finished products from our ports to farms and rural areas and export raw materials from farms to ports for exports

Taratibu tutafika bro Guest from Wazua remember this SGR is being extended to Naivasha hence connecting it to the upcoming Naivasha industrial zones, noting the industries will be operating not far from the geothermal plant.

Not only the naivasha one but also the athi river one and there is two more along mombasa nairobi route

Its back and forth.

I was not specifically targetting kenya but most African countries
1. kenya exports raw coffee which is processed and sent back to kenya and sold at a premium
2.Nigeria exports crude oil which inturns imports refined pretroleum products
3.farmers in Ivory coast exports cocoa beans yet they have never tasted a chocalte(go watch these weeks CNN documentary on the same by Richard quest)
4.Tanzania exports Gold and I'm sure they import gold chains and watches
5.zambia exports copper and I'm sure they import all the electrical materials and wiring.

The reason why the Chinese are so enthusiastic about financing major infrastructure projects in Africa is because they want to make it easier to transport raw materials from the interior parts of Africa to the nearest port.

African leaders are driven by greedy and rent seeking, why would Kenya, uganda and even Tanzania export oil from saudi arabia and not south sudan who are our neigbours?

I just hope that the tripartite free trade area to be set up by EAC, SADC and COMESA will be actualized in 2017 as currently plannned for and will lead to increased market access of products within the countries/

I share with uhuru's view that the way to develop Africa is by increasing/opening Intra Africa trade

Nigeria is the biggest classic FAIL in africa selling oil worth 135bn$ yearly yet 130 million pple still live in shacks I hope kenya will never do that I wonder how u can be making free money yearly barely without toil whatsoever and yet refuse to share with ur country men

Pia equatorial Guinea they are only 580k Pple in the whole country making 47bn$ yrly from oil alafu only 20000 middle class in a country that inaeza simama kwa the tallest building and see all the corners of the country as in the could literally build every single person in africa (continental) a house for 15 yrrs n wabaki na money ya kujiendelsha

Pia Angola 18mn pple selling 90bn$ worth of oil annually and no rich person in the country am glad east africa toka south Sudan kuna frame works but no sizeable minerals yet... This is why wen I see kenya with no oil and building houses for pple in kibera am glad that with nothing this is where we are at with oil we can Do much more

We are not like middle east where they have oil but no land hapa we have as EA land for agricultural activities, large number of people many cities with potential and great history, diversity, and now that we are getting oil and gas n TZ and other minerals I think in 30yrs time wen we have established all our resources India na China will be behind us btw juwt read east africa has the highest number of Chinese immigration rates this decade in africa - they don't just move anywhere this pple hopefully peace and development I bliv China will snatch usa crown then EAC will take over the crown from china since we literally are the centre of the earth

This is what I was talking about, Fish and mushroom from china with love

Two Reasons:

1. Most African governments are averse to common sense.

2. Some some of these countries are somewhat volatile and supply might be halted anytime.

aerial views shows they are really serious about this project
