Kenya to reap Sh8.1 billion in new open skies agreement

Kwani hayo mapanga boi si tuliambiwa yatasafiri nchi nyingine za Afrika au ulikuwa ni uongo? Kwa hiyo kusubiri miaka mingine chungu nzima badala ya kuanza kubenefit indirectly!?

...nani alikudanganya airline ni vyombo tu?? airline kama KQ imefanya kazi kwa miaka mingi sana....imejikakamua miaka nenda miaka rudi kufikia mahali ilipo leo hata kama inaendeshwa kwa hasara....vitu kama direct flights to USA, UK, China and Germany mnazo? ebu tuanzie hapo...mfano direct flights to New York sie tunazo na tulitaka kuwa nazo tangu 2010 ila hatukuwa tumefikisha status ya kupata hizo flights...imagine miaka saba tumekuwa tukitaka hizo flights ndio tunazipata leo...nyie mnafufua airline 2018, how do u expect to compete wth KQ, ET or SAA?

Uliulizwa swali zuri sana mwanzoni, hukujibu unabaki kuzunguka, tafadhali jibu swali kwanini Kenya imekataa kuunganisha bomba la mafuta la East Afrika ili mafuta yote yapitie Uganda ili kufaidika na economy of scale?, kila nchi inaangalia maslahi yake first, Kenya ikijaribu kulinda maslahi yake kwako ni jambo la busara, ila Tanzania ikijaribu kulinda maslahi yake inakuwa kosa na kwamba inafanya kosa, mtaendelea kuisoma mwaka huu.

believe me we will get those faster than u with our facial recognition facilities n most secured epassports, new terminal at JNIA modernization at Znz n Kilimanjaro airports n secured air space (6 radars in total being installed). Now ATCL is striving to get to IOSA certifications.

Uganda nowdays is looking and follow what Tanzania is doing, from EPA, banning of importation of used clothes, electric SGR, pipeline, and now this issue of airspace, if Tanzania says no, be sure Uganda will say no.

I though you've been following the tread, my comment was an answer to a fellow Tanzanian who was questioning why Tanzania didn't join the bandwagon of African air alliance. Kenya doesn't have to sit put, your on alliance already, but for Tanzania we need time to build our capacity. Air travel in Africa is still growing even though at slow pace compare to other part of of the world.
