Pili,Tanzania is one of the few countries in the world iliyotenga at least 25% ya sehemu kuwa hifadhi. Sio kazi ndogo, na sio kazi ya siku moja. You have to continously work hard to maintain it. Kenya na nchi yoyote wanaweza kuleta tourist, na wanafanya hivyo lakini ni vizuri nao wakachangia kuhifadhi maeneo husika.

$200 inaweza kuwa stupid or vise versa but one thing is for sure, kama kweli hifadhi za Tanzania si chochote wala chochote, Kenya wasingehangaika for a minute kuleta watalii Tanzania tena kwa gharama 'kubwa'. Wangewapeleka Masai mara na sehemu nyingine, give them a nice smile and kiss them goodbye. Lazima Tanzania ina kitu unique.

Masai Mara ni nzuri na tourists wengi wanatembelea. But Masai Mara is not Serengeti. Itakuchukuwa muda mrefu 'zaidi' ukiwa Masai Mara kuona wananyama hasa wale 'big five' kuliko ukiwa Serengeti. Na mara nyingi wanyama wa Masai Mara wamesogea sana, unachungulia kwa kuchungulia ili umuone simba etc etc.

Tunajua tourism ni biashara na tunajua kwamba kwenye hii biashara tunakata nini. Kwa mfano kama nataka $1000 na kama naweza kupata hizo $1000 toka kwa Bill Gates ceteris peribus, kwa nini nihangike na Mwajuma 100 watakaolipa $10 kila mmoja ili nifikie hiyo $1000. And worse hawa wakina Mwajuma wanakula mahindi ya kukaangaa, wanakunywa tusker chupa moja watu wawili , wanalala kwenye double decker beds maana hela ni mgogoro, wanapiga kelele... total nightamare!. Kwa nini nifanye hivyo wakati Bill Gates analipa $1000, atakunywa tusker chupa moja peke yake, hakuna mambo ya double decker maana money is no object?.

true about Kenya vs Tanzania dominating JF intl and it needs a surgical razor to clean the mess. I raised the issue on a separate post but ofcourse u know what happens on such occasions. Even with a x10 super lens u cant trace the post, ''this admin works in very mysterious ways'',lol.
Theres no hostility between the two states. am sure what happens in JF excites the ruling elite, scares them alil but it doesnt constitute to govt policy. Unajua it's very easy for you guys to keep on brushing aside serious arguments by saying that, but if you are an economic expert and you have hard figures and facts on the table then you wouldn't say that.

You know very well Kenya does alot of trade with Tanzania and Tanzania does the same thing. Our traders and regular people move back and forth btw the 2 countries many times. It's also nothing to do with uniqueness of Tanzania its about fair trading practices and agreements. You guys are blantantly violating the EAC community aggrement that you Govt has signed. Huu ni ujanja ama ujeuri.

We seriously need to remove all these unnecessary fees and restrictions to ease movement of trade, and people between the 2 countries.

It's sad that our African brothers are fining us just because we are bringing in many tourists into their country from our side.

Europeans and Americans sell alot of your packages but you guys give them a pass.

You guys know very well that Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is a Hub in the east so many of these tourists will probably arrive from Nairobi. If JKIA is doing well and many Tanzanian tourists are using it, i dont see anything with that. It's actually not the best Airport around.

About your argument about it being hard to spot animals in Maasai Mara ( The small area) compared to Serengeti (The larger area), i dont see how thats possible. It's actually the other way round. Everyone knows that Wildebeest, Zebras and other animals move back and forth between Maasai Mara and Serengeti because of seasonal pastures which are controlled by the rainy seasons.
Tourists normally have little time and strict Itineraries, and would probably choose the smaller area with high chances of seeing more animals in a shorter period, rather than wondering about in a huge spread out area looking for animals for more hours.

Kenya ndiyo tuna Mlima Kenya. We get many climbers too. OK unfortunately we also get many Mt Kilimanjaro clients both climbers and Sightseers (Sightseers mostly for Amboselli) It's a free market and any Travel Agent can sell Mt Kilimanjaro. The only diff is your Mt is higher than ours, it's also along our border so we can't ignore it. Tanzanian firms also sell Mt Kenya.
We also share the same larger National Park Ecosystem (Maasai Mara Serengeti)

Also don't forget nowadays we have many multi country packages. So you guys are inconviniencing tourists, and travel companies with this unnecessary fee for nothing.

Kwa tabia za wanyama, watu wanavyozidi kusogea karibu na wao wanasogea nyuma. Now apply that kwa Amboseli na jinsi kuna hoteli nyingi karibu.
