88 Nairobi Condominium (Under Construction)

At 218 m, 88 Nairobi will be the tallest residential building in sub Saharan Africa and the third tallest building in Africa, unseating it's towering neighbor Britam Towers (200.1 m) . Britam towers is currently the tallest building in east and central Africa after unseating the UAP towers in Upperhill.

A two-acre plot of land at the intersection of Bishop’s Road and 4th Ngong Avenue in Nairobi’s Upper Hill district is about to be transformed into a 44-floor condo tower termed 88 Nairobi Condominium, the first of its kind in east and central Africa.

Its developer, Czech-based Kenyan billionaire Jonathan Jackson, has finally received City Hall’s clearance and the site is currently a bee hive of activity.

This will become the 18th building above 100 m in Nairobi city.

“Kenya is becoming the hub of investment in the sub-Saharan Africa. Lordship Africa is responding to this trend and the resultant demand for quality residential units,” he said.

Other buildings lined up for the Upperhill district of the CBD include, "The pinnacle " currently on hold due to court cases and "The one Nairobi" currently proposed. The two will unseat 88 Nairobi Condominium, Carlton centre (south africa) and the leonardo (south africa) to become the first and second tallest buildings in Africa.
