Jiulize mbona mradi wa bandari bagamoyo upo ila Reli imara za kusambaza hiyo mizigo hatuoni michakato ikianza au ni mambo ya barabara?

Hey bro, don't forget Kenya is also building another port ( Lamu ) to tap into the Ethiopian/South Sudan Market. This will be the equivalent of your Bagamoyo. It is all about strategy hence we welcome improved service delivery in Dar as well the proposed Bagamoyo port. All these developments are good for the region. Don't read mischief each time your neighbor does something.

About Mombasa vs Bagamoyo ports, Mombasa is not even close to facing imminent threat but rather will be complemented by Bagamoyo where it fails.

The bone of contention will finally be settled on efficiency in unpacking goods, time taken to deliver these goods and most importantly the hauling costs. Kenya via Eng Kamau intend to slash these costs drastically mostly on hauling costs by reinventing the railway system from scratch.

By the time Lamu Port will be on streamz uts relevance will be but a btw to Uganda and Rwanda. I dont think SS and Ethiopia will effectively utilize Lamu port, i forsee Uganda and Rwanda taking some share there too.

What is taking you so long? You should have bolted out like yesterday. What is funny though is that i have yet to see any benefits that have accrued to you for being members of SADC.
 
True. Africa needs all the ports it can build to transport goods and people to itself and the world. So the mentality that Kenyans develop their Ports to spite Tanzania or otherwise is primitive and retrogressive. You large ports in Kenya as many as we can build. Ditto Tanzania.
 

Sioni cha kututisha kwenye hili. Dar port waongeze ufanisi tu...mfanya biashara anataka faida sio siasa za Kikwete na Kagame. Hata wakiweka huduma ya kulipia kwa Mpesa bado haitasaidia endapo uondoshaji makontena bandarini ni duni.

So far Dar port is doing excellent.....tusiwe wanyonge kila wakati!!!
