😀😀😀😀Haha n then juzi mwingine ananishow tunaongeanga kiswahili tukibana mapua

The Mabati Cornell Kiswahili prize was founded in 2014 by a KENYAN Dr. Mukoma wa Ngugi.A Kenyan poet is among the winners of the 2018 Mabati- Cornell Kiswahili Prize for African Literature to be feted next month bin Tanzania.
Jacob Ngumbau emerged victorious for His Kiswahili poetry work "moto wa kifua" (Fire of the coconut shell) and will take home a prize of sh500,000 during a ceremony to be held in Dar es salaam on February 15.
Ala kumbe Wakenya ikifika ni kiswahili ni wanoma than their Tanzagiza counterparts not only in English but also in Swahili.
I guess you don't know the origin of the word " njaanuary" if you don't know please ask.
Please tell me the origin of 'njanuari'.I guess you don't know the origin of the word " njaanuary" if you don't know please ask.

Kenyans always view January as a long month, a month in which money circulation is very low and also a month of hot sun with no rains. Because of this they are trying to conclude that January is a month of hunger na hiyo ndo sababu ukiangalia most social media za Kenya utaona people writing "njaa-nuary" which is a combination of njaa( hunger) and nuary( 1st month of the year)Please tell me the origin of 'njanuari'.
Thanks in advance.
Yeah wao husound dumb sasa wanaexpect tu ige nani we were colonised we went through apartheid there were whitelands n africans land so that means hata shule zenye kina Kenyatta walienda were all run by white so hio ni ujinga lazima tuwaige juu ndani yetu tuna part of them,so si makosa yetu ku colonisiwa but kutulaumu munakaa wajingaha ha ha maajabu haya..tena ukiskia WaBongo wakisema kazi yetu ni kuiga wazungu na kizungu tu. kumbe hata kiswahili tumewapiku???
