Sasa ngoja nikuweke sawa vizuri, thx kwa kuweka na mwaka, kama spring of 2012 ulikuwa china inamaanisha new year ilikukuta huko, which means ulianza chuo september 15th 2011 to january 23rd 2012 is exactly 4 months, so your first semester had to have 4 months, then from jan 23- ungerudi shuleni about feb 12-15th, which is another month or so. Hapo ni almost 5 months for just 1 semester, semester ya pili ingeanza mid February up to about end of june (this is a standard timetable for all universities under the ministry of education in china. wale watu ni kama maroboti, hakuna cha free style kule. ungefanya end of semester 2 exams for 1-2 weeks, meaning ungemaliza kozi yako mid july.which is exactly 5 months from february, for a total of about 10 months of staying in china interrupted by more than 4 holidays.in simple language hii ingekuwa 1 year (probably Chinese language course, still asking myself if the name of your university start with Beijing, how the hell didn't you know what Beijing looked like in Chinese?).

LOL, that is not how any of this works.

When on a study abroad program, the basis of the study program is the sponsoring university's. The curriculum is based on the sponsoring university's or a course agreement developed by the sponsoring university and the host university. In the case of BJU and my university, UC, a consortium agreements exists between my school, BJU and Peking University. This agreement covers the development of courses that are tailored to the host university. An example is the IBUS program with China as the focus. It is a 3 credit class, that is usually covered by 2 instructors: one from each school.

In the US, there are 3 traditional semesters, Spring, Summer and Fall. In many universities, Fall and Spring are divided into Fall I and Fall II and some schools have a Winter semester which is just another Study abroad semester.

These are the facts buddy! You are welcome!

So a university in US decides what a Chinese government institution should teach, and this is actually a Chinese Language course, kwa msioelewa, hizi exchange programs za BJTU ni Chinese language courses. Chinese Universities just name them exchange programs as there are culture courses taught in these.
What's the point of going abroad if you will be taught exactly what your institution is teaching you?the part of going abroad is experiencing new type of learning.mbaya zaidi umechagua one of China's most conservative universities from Wikipedia. BJTU and Peking are like Harvard and California Tech. These are as conservative as a Chinese institution gets. There is NO WAY in hell they will adopt a US curiculum just because Mekatilili pre-empted his lies.

What you just wrote are lies pulled out of your **a to save your face. so now fall is officially winter..,phew, you lied too early, there is no way you can justify having a fall semester and spring semester that takes just 6 months. Soon you will invent your own little Kenyan Calendar. There is NO BJU university in Beijing, if you are referring to BJTU. Randomly naming Chinese universities you just learned about from Wikipedia, will not give you simple facts that only exists on the ground in China.
Don't lie about bilateral agreements dude. No University in China changes it's timetable just to fit your lies. there is no such thing as winter Semester.Chinese institutions has 2 semesters one that starts in September and one that starts in February. The 3rd extra and optional semester is a short summer semester, which is utilized by foreigners as intensive language course.

Here is a simple example of what an exchange program looks like, for those who have any questions about it, this is the only English information available from BJTU page.i could put chinese version which is more details and names all universities with exchange programs with BJTU for the past 10 years, but kimeo Mekatilili won't understand, he didn't even understand when i posted Beijing in Chinese, i don't expect much from him from a 5 pager of Chinese.

At this point, it is as if I am speaking Esperanto.

Someone please explain to this Kimweri what a study abroad program is-in Kiswahili no less. It is not astounding that this is considered an unbelievably foreign concept by a self proclaimed engineer, If you had gotten you Engineering degree in a University, this would be common knowledge.

It is nice to see that you finally seem to have realized your folly. We all know that you are not speaking in Esperanto but rather in kenyan English!

I would advise you not to resort to lies when you feel cornered. In this forum you are not dealing with fools, quite the contrary. You just have to swallow your pride as you have no other choice. Otherwise you will always be dealt with accordingly; and that without mercy!
