Kenya's economy expands by 6.2pc in second quarter

It's amazing just how on steroids East Africa is. We ridicule 6-7% growth as pathetic yet take that to Southern, western or northern Africa and you are a shining beckon of good growth. We ridicule our projects as tiny or white elephants forgetting we have 7 of the 10 largest u/C infrastructural projects in Africa. We mock each others pathetic mineral finds forgetting this the only region where vast mineral resources are being discovered in all nations. We laugh at each others poor education sector yet forget that people from all over the continent flock our schools, and I don't hear of Tanzanian, Ugandan, Kenyan or Rwandan makwerekwere in South Africa. We call our governments useless and irresponsible but I'm yet to hear East African migrants ship wrecked in the Mediterranean end route to Europe. This is 1 good time to be an East African indeed. I
